Boy, I sure do love buying weapon DLCs after a promise of "No weapons locked behind DLC". Especially ones that are either absolutely busted, or so worthless they're a waste of time.

Oh, and let's not forget the cosmetics. Boy do I love cosmetics that are overpriced with a fake rarity because "Crates and keys are a good monetization, right?". Just let me buy the cosmetics I want instead of rolling for them like it's a casino. I get that this system "works" for TF2 and CS:GO, but it's genuinely insulting to "have" to spend thousands trying to get the cosmetics you want.

Gameplay is aight, though. Graphics are your bog standard "Realism go brrr", just with a bit too much neon on some of the weapons. And a lack of love and care from the devs, too, but let's not talk about that. Not to mention the other false promises, like the promise of Enemies gaining new moves and not becoming bullet sponges on higher difficulties. Yeah, funny how they went. It's both. They become bullet sponges and get new moves. Man I sure love having to hit a cartwheeling, half-invisble lady in the head consistently to deal any meaningful damage that keeps me on par with next wave's economy.

Edit: So, having played more during the free weekend, it's worse than I remember. The newer DLC guns absolutely wreck the power balance. That was the most unengaged I have ever been in a game. Honestly, sucks to see the sorry state the game is in, back in Early Access it had so much promise and potential. Now, the sale is just a quick grab to get extra money before they toss aside it for the third, and expect everyone to move on near immediately.

Sony's anti-consumer practices continue to be there. Game itself is solid as ♥♥♥♥, 'sides the performance, but, with Sony being Sony, not worth the pricetag.

Good show from Triumph Studios again, showing they wanna keep their games fresh and enjoyable, whilst evolving how it's played.

Honestly, I woulda discounted this game after seeing the review count, but a friend recommended it to me and I'm glad I didn't discount it. Game is *really* good, especially for a passion project. Gameplay is solid and easy to learn, especially if you play a lot of RTS, 6 unique factions honestly took me off guard for a game priced so cheaply, but it was great to see.

No gripes what-so-ever, infact, dev is quick to respond and genuinely cares about the project, my gripes were *actually* fixed today, 9/3/2023.

After wanting a proper action-y game for the Aliens Franchise, and the last one being Colonial Marines, which as we all know, wasn't good, this game is a definite breath of fresh air. Missions are fun, environment and atmosphere feels *really* good, much like the weapons themselves. My honest only complaints are the fact it's a 3 player limit, and that the Grenade Launcher and Rocket Launcher you purchase from Parker sound a little quiet and distant. Highly recommend it.

Early Access Review
This game is just great. Now, I'm gonna preface by saying, I'm not someone who tends to like PvP against random people all that much, so games like this tend to not be my thing. However, this game, just flows perfectly for it honestly. It feels like somebody took Running with Rifles and Planetside 2 then put a WW1/2 aesthetic on it. Everything feels fun to do, even logistics, as you'll commonly be thanked for running logistics, since it's a pretty uneventful job driving materials from point A to point B as needed. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Total War: Warhammer 2 definitely breathes new life into the Total War series. It genuinely feels like, much like with TW:W, they had fun making it instead of hitting a checkbox for making a historical one.

Great fun and honestly a unique take on the RTS genre, that's not even mentioning how good the campaign is thus far! If you want some pros and cons, well..
Pros:
-Easy to learn.
-Quick matches
-Interesting setting
-Interesting characters
-Fun gameplay
-Limited resources that doesn't end in a stalemate.

Cons:
-Limited resources on the map.
-Randomly generated maps can go heavily against you.
-Only 4 players max.

Edit: As of this edit, I found out Cross Platform was pushed back for now. I'll re-add crossplatform to the Pros once it is added in.

The one and only Space Grand Strategy game, and I would go far enough to say the BEST Space 4X game in recent years.

Pretty good card game, has a great concept, and is pretty balanced actually. Haven't played much into it tbh, but, from someone who standardly hates cardgames, I found this one to be quite fun, and I found the challenge fair for the time I played. Will definantly be putting more into this, and I will give a more indepth review after I put a couple hours into it.
