One of my all time favorites. Campaign can be quite fun for a new player, endgame has a lot of content and is quite fun, a ton of viable farm methods, many viable meme builds and new leagues keep introducing heavy changes that avoid making the game feel stale. Will require time investment if you want to get far into the endgame tho.

Early Access Review
Haven't played much yet but I fell in love with this game already. So much of the game already feels like a massive upgrade to The Forest, construction has so much potential and combat feels different but better. I still have to get used to it, but I'm enjoying it a lot.

What I don't like is the lack of explanation and tutorials, I had to understand building the hard way, there isn't a stats page (at least none I could find), options in the menu aren't explained, UI icons aren't exactly clear on what they mean or how they work, weapon stats aren't properly explained, so at the end there is a ton of guesswork to be done on the game. I expect that, as feedback is received, they'll polish those things and implement some missing stuff (like the stats page) from The Forest.

Early Access Review
Well, this is gonna be a long one. I loved Phasmophobia back in the day, but lately it seems like devs are taking the wrong direction on development of this game. Even for an Early Access title, it's not excusable how broken content is/was. The new shops is horribly designed, confusing, and barely works at all, we had problems non stop even trying to simply buy or add something, it's glitched and sometimes unlucky us couldn't buy and there goes another restart. "Balancing" feels like they are treating what is a game to just have fun, get scared, die, repeat, as a competitive game, with ghost "balancing" to avoid """exploits""" like losing line of sight with a Revenant to make it slow and destroying any possible reward from custom difficulties while adding all the punishment of harder diffs.

Worse was when they "updated" the voice recognition system to a "better" system which outright didn't work for Spanish, softlocking an entire community, because it doesn't recognize foreign accents. The "text" option is at best, a bandaid, as it's badly limited on options, and their fix was just re adding the old system, somewhat broken. They seemed to either just not care at all or not being competent enough to fix something that worked and they broke.

Then adding a ban system which can be abused instead of working against cheaters, so we still barely have any protection against cheats except hoping they get banned and we don't get banned for kicking people that don't talk our language from our lobbies or swearing.

I really, really, really hope to be proven wrong and seeing them fix all those issues, so I can enjoy some good games of Phasmophobia with my friends without having to worry about voice recognition not working, the shop being broken, and have the dumb fun that could be had with stuff like the Revenant slowing down instantly, tbagging them, screwing up, dying, instead of what it is nowadays.

Bannerlord, as of 1.0, shows a lot of promise. Combat is just as fun as it was on Warband, with formations being now native, better sounds but somewhat smaller combat maps, yet much prettier.

Everything else outside combat is different. I wouldn't say improved, as it's so different I can barely recognize stuff. But it's a "good" different, as it generates a new, enjoyable experience. Bannerlord is slower compared to Warband, and a negative is that skills aren't obvious to understand/use as they were on Warband, and it's harder to build characters, which can be a bit grindy, but after playing for a while I'm starting to like this system.

Mods are still there, and they are easier to manage than they were on Warband, and it's good. Proper modding support is always a massive plus for any game, but it shouldn't be up to the players to fix and expand systems again like Diplomacy, it really should had been native. But at the end of the day it's there.

That being said, the game is still buggy in a non game breaking way, villagers jumping forwards and backwards several times per second, getting stuck on the map, some cities not properly loading and loading screens sometimes get stuck when alt tabbing, which breaks immersion sometimes and on this type of games, immersion is really important.

Overall, it still feels as an early release of the game, but the foundations are there and they are fun, just a bit hard to get into as the game drops you teaching anything but how to recruit and bonk looters. If you are looking for a full, stable and polished experience, then I'd recommend waiting, as the game is not there yet.

If you are fan of this genre, you'll most likely find a lot of fun in this game. Gameplay is solid, roles are very well defined, there is a huge room for customization and there is a lot of viable builds. Nice replay value due to how most of the game can be played in an all-out fashion or stealth, or both. Visuals are nice, and soundtrack is honestly amazing.

That being said, there are a fair amount of bugs, like agents getting stuck on walls, which can lead to a pretty fast wipe. Not common, only happened once or twice per run. Also, AI can get stuck while pathfinding in narrow spaces. At least it's consistent so it's easy to get around it. Besides that, no real gamebreaking bugs or anything like that.

I really recommend this game if you are interested on this genre or if you enjoy it already, but if this is your first experience with this type of games, you may not find it fun.

Pretty nice game to pass the time. Sound and graphics are nice, gameplay is decent, no gamebreaking bugs besides getting stuck inside planets.
