Graveyard keeper is a game I've wanted to like more than almost any other. The art is amazing, the concept is fantastic, everything about it is so immaculate except the gameplay loop.

You can actually play most of the game for free, just open up the wiki and start scrolling. Congratulations you've experienced almost 75% of the game's playtime.

I have never encountered a more obtuse game, and you are absolutely STONEWALLED 24/7 by the progression. You're literally not allowed to continue the actually fun namesake of the game, (Being a graveyard keeper) because you need to do your chores and NPC quests that have flowcharts and requirements resembling an excel spreadsheet. It's like playing Fromsoft NPC quests as a video game.

Want to craft X item?
Find this NPC you didn't know existed, in a part of the map you didn't know you needed to go, to get the ability to craft a component you weren't aware of. But only at night! And only after you've advanced another quest you didn't know was related. But ONLY on this day of the week!

All without mentioning the diabolically convoluted alchemy and zombie systems.

I wish it was so much better.

There's a reason that despite the controversies, Helldivers 2 handily maintains a higher playercount than almost every other PVE coop shooter. The gameplay loop is absolutely fun as hell, people just reeaally want this game to fail, (even the producers lmao)

I'd like to personally thank Miyazaki and his team for their continued lack of ultra-wide resolution support.

Buy a real monitor you heathens.

Thank GOD this turned out good, honestly. The (unfortunately) expected server issues wound up being the only major problem, but Bungie actually came through in the end. Prismatic is very fun and offers a lot of experimentation, the final area is huge and full of stuff. The final raid was as difficult and interesting as The Last Wish. The story writing had some stiff points in the campaign, but nothing about the ending and its mission could be better, so full of fanservice in the best ways.

Still reigns as one of the best horror games of the last few years, incredible ambiance and visual style that I've found few things comparable to. Game is very difficult and if you're not willing to adapt and explore, you'll get filtered very quickly.

There's very few games I would ever give a perfect 10/10 score to, however this is one of them without a doubt in my mind. Any fan of exploration or survival games should try this game as soon as they can.

The final boss is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke, certain classes can't win at all, some of them can't even get to it because they're stuck on an island if they miss the jump. Cheese the stupid thing or you don't win, oh and the only way to figure out what his abilities do is to die to them, or have already gone to the wiki to read up.

Renders most of your items useless cause they're not made for a stupid 4v1 fight, you know, they're built for a horde shooter that makes up 99.99% of the game?

Then he takes away those items you've collected anyways, the whole point of your entire run.
Imagine if you made it through the entirety of a Pokemon game, and then suddenly the champion wants you to put away your Pokemon and fistfight. What the hell?

Horribly balanced thing feels like a placeholder, especially when the whole level is just a big empty walk, but at least they shoved a few random rock monsters along the highway so you feel comfortable. He then summons them during the fight, one phase is literally just the stupid rock monsters (???).

Literally a massive tumor on this whole game, why the hell did they do this.

Build a heap of trash as close to breaking as possible, with as little money as possible.

Building BRIDGES is the fastest way to fail in this game, you're better off with ramps and gimmicks.
You're not rewarded for actually building anything nice or well made, the opposite actually.

God I'm so disappointed

Early Access Review
The game that killed my faith in Valve as a developer.

They had the keys to the kingdom of autochess and got surpassed and undercut by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RIOT GAMES of all people.
Underlords is a barebones experience that is only worse than the mod in almost every way possible, updates are slow and infrequent and rarely do anything but change the meta to a new "best class".

Bare minimum customization, no player character, trash progression and little game diversity. Grating and awful music, and a TRASH USER INTERFACE that has ONLY gotten worse as time has gone on.

Very little comeback mechanics as opposed to the game's competitors. Very little ANYTHING to offer even if I did enjoy it at one point, it faded very fast as the lack of updates mean the game gets stale extremely quickly.

I genuinely think Valve is dead as a game developer and should stick to steam, but they're getting blasted in that market too so maybe they should just go with the wind and die already.

Unplayable due to constant crashing, consistent, can't even get past a single chapter.

Please fix!
