This game is the biggest shame on my account, being the one I played the most. Most people love it, and I can't stop them from enjoying it as it is something they enjoy, however to the person who is just about to sink an ungodly amount of hours for minimal progress, I don't suggest going into this rabbit hole. Warframe employs mobile-game strategy where you must sit there and wait days for one thing to finish so you can be disappointed by how bad it really is, since the game has thousands of items but only like 7 are actually worth your time. The developers do work hard on the game though, which is something that not even AAA companies tend to do. However, after 1500+ hours, this is my true opinion of the game: You will not have fun for the first few hours of the game, but only because you will be stuck with starter gear and have to go through one of the most grind-heavy stages of the game, as you won't have any materials nor credits (nor a source of credits) to craft most of the things that you will be interested in. The main fun of this game comes from the middle stage, where you have some items worth their weight, and you have access to missions that are fun only because they are new to you. You will also get through the somewhat good, to amazing, story mode that the game has to offer. The point where the game dies off is around the "endgame stage", where you have beaten all of what story there currently is, and you start grinding primes. You will realize that all the game really is, is just a grind fest where u spend maximum time for minimal reward until you finally get the reward you want, just to spend 3 days waiting for it to craft and then do the same thing but with a different item in your arsenal. It is truly disappointing how the endgame has no true fun in it other than rep grind, material grind, and blueprint grind. For a new player, don't get this game. It will be a waste of time for you, so it may be good, but not recommended for new players.
