Better than the original. My only regret is that I didn't get the Freedom fighter bundle.

For those who are looking for their FPS-Moba hybrid fix and are on the fence between Paladins and Overwatch, please read on.

(Note that most of what I'm about to say here are comparisons to Overwatch)

Pros:
- IT's FREE
- The card system, which is lacking in Overwatch. Having the ability to include passive skills that complement your playstyle adds a layer of depth to the gameplay. In Overwatch, your characters come 'as is'.
- Low system requirements. While Overwatch is no Witcher 3, it does require you to have decent hardware. This game, however, will let you play on hardware as old as ENIAC.

CONS:
- Characters have no heft. Every one of them feel as if they're hovering.
- Some characters/abilities are (blatant) rip offs from overwatch. e.g.: Mei's Cryo-freeze, Reinhardt's barrier field, D.va's APM, Torbjorn and his turret.
- Team clashes don't feel as 'intense' and 'critical' as they do in OW
- The announcer. Was he even paid to do this?
- Maps are small and uninspired
- Objectives feel like they were shoehorned into the game just to make it feel more like OW
- No SEA Server
- No option to change characters ingame

Verdict:
A poor man's Overwatch. If you don't have OW, Paladins would make a great substitute. For OW players, there's little to no incentive in playing Paladins. OW is infinitely superior in terms of gameplay and polish.

It would've been a nice game if it weren't for the many game breaking bugs.

Here are some that I've experienced:

- Not being able to move a character despite having 0 obstructions
- Bone collector's ability not triggering even when a creature died adjacent to it
- Enemies being able to attack another creature even when a creature right next to it has taunt
- Charge not working even when the spaces are unoccupied

Other 'frustrating' issues:

- Getting pandora matches against players that far outrank you
- Too little player base, there's a high chance that you'll be encountering the same opponent twice, consecutively.
- Battle mode is also P2W. F2P players will never stand a chance against those who paid since they literally have the whole collection of cards.
- 49.99 and you get the whole card lot!!!!

If you're into ccg, try Elder Scrolls Legends, hearthstone, or something else. This game has too many bugs to even be considered; Or maybe wait until they come out of EA (Which may never happen).

I would highly recommend not spending money on this game, not at its current stage!!!

1.0 release after more than 3 years. What saddens me is it's actually in its worst possible state since I started playing 3 years ago. The servers are unstable, @ 52 MS I'm getting lag spikes and stutters like I was playing at 999ms, there's at most 10 people playing in the SEA region. People have lost interest and I don't blame them. It's starting to feel like Brink.

RIP Dirty Bomb.

Port forwarding to 6510 does not work and yes, I did click on the help button and read the instructions just to make sure I was doing it correctly. I know my way around both my router and computer. I purchased 7 copies of this game so I can play it with my friends and family members, that's not going to happen now since the cheapass developers can't pay to host a server. Expect to get more negative reviews because of this.

NOT RECOMMENDED. The game is dead, you won't get past activating your key. I'm more pissed at the time it took me to download this P.O.S. than the actual cost I paid for the game. That said, I'll still be playing Rockstar games, just don't expect me to pay for them. If you know what I mean.
