UPDATE: Sony reverses the decision. Mandatory account-linking won't be implemented in the near future.
Still stupid that it had to come to this, but oh well. Review's back to good because Arrowhead and the community deserves that W.

Negative review in solidarity with the community.
The PSN-change may not affect me personally, but a couple of friends have been affected by it. Unacceptable behaviour by Snoy.

If you play idle-games for the "numbers go brrr" experience, then this one's going to blow your socks off.

Do you like trombones?
Do you like baboons?
Do you like to suffer?

If your answer is yes to any of these, this game is for you.

You are a worm through time. The thunder song distorts you. Happiness comes. White pearls, but yellow and red in the eye. Through a mirror, inverted is made right. Leave your insides by the door. Push the fingers through the surface into the wet. You’ve always been the new you. You want this to be true. We stand around you while you dream. You can almost hear our words but you forget. This happens more and more now. You gave us the permission in your regulations. We wait in the stains. The word that describes this is redacted. Repeat the word. The name of the sound. It resonates in your house. After the song, time for applause. We build you till nothing remains. The egg cracks and the truth will emerge out of you. You are home. You remind us of home. You’ve taken your boss with your boss with you. All hair must be eaten. Under the conceptual reality behind this reality you must want these waves to drag you away. After the song, time for applause. This cliché is death out of time, breaking the first the second the third the fourth wall, the fifth wall, floor; no floor: you fall! How do you say “insane”? Hurts to be happy. An earworm is a tune you can’t stop humming in a dream: “baby baby baby yeah”. Just plastic. So, safe and nothing to worry about. Ha ha, funny. The last egg breaks now. The hole in your room is a hole in you. You came and we let you in through the hole in you. You have always been here, the only child. A copy of a copy of a copy. Orange peel. The picture is you holding the picture. When you hear this you will know you’re in new you. You want to listen. You want to dream. You want to smile. You want to hurt. You don’t want to be.

:)

They took the worst from Vanguard and shoved it into this - primarily the "hop around corners and your animation is screwed up" - meaning that players who do so still face the direction they jumped into, but may already have turned to you. The moment they land, they snap back, thus making hitting them (sudden hitbox-shift) super difficult. It's terrible.

Played this as part of EA Play, but also played a lot of it back when EA Play was on Origin only and known as Origin Access.

Don't. Cheating killed the game. Don't waste your time, nor money.

One day, you'll have a manager named Nugget in your real estate business.

Nugget is a chicken.

Gameplay-wise, DiRT Rally 2.0 is a clear improvement over the first game, as the driving feels snappy, the co-driver doesn't eat his microphone all the time and some of the streamlining decisions are not all too bad. The lack of depth in the engineers may bother some, but I'm fine with it.

What I'm not fine with is the always-online requirement, even for single-player races. This is so much of a problem that the game may suddenly just not connect. Just now I tried to do a Daily event - one-off events which you must complete in one attempt or else you "DNF" out of them - with the main-menu and everything else syncing fine. Start up the daily race and suddenly it cannot connect. 20 attempts later I said "Eh, I'm sure it didn't save anything anyway" so back to main-menu I go. NOW it decides to sync yet again, as if the menu-sync is not broken but race-sync is, and the Daily says "DNF". Geez, good thing I didn't wanna try to do my Weekly right now or else the game would've locked me out of that...

It would be SUPER USEFUL for Codemasters to either remove the always-online requirement to begin with or at least, AT LEAST, offer a bloody server-status to the main-menu to inform players AHEAD OF STARTING ONE-OFF EVENTS that you'll lose progress unless you decide to sit in the "retry connection" menu until it's fixed, which can take minutes or possibly hours to fix...

So, mostly due to this, I cannot recommend the game in the current stage. It's great when it works, but stings when it doesn't. The early access release's server-issues were so bad that Codemasters gave every early-access-driver (so everyone buying the Deluxe Edition ahead of regular release and playing it ahead of regular release) 1 million in-game Credits to make up for it. It still doesn't run flawlessly...

I've liked this game even before the Millennium Edition update came out, but now there's even more things to do!

Mutators to unlock for added longevity, daily completion-challenges and weekly speedrunners-challenges with leaderboards, new enemy-types and -behaviours as well as general bug-fixes makes this an even better game now than ever before.

If you like roguelites and shooters, this one's for you.

Telling you why you should play this game would be a spoiler in itself, but let me tell you this: You will get to know feelings you haven't felt in most other video-games in a long time.

The story is just a blast. The depth of the world, the secrets, all the conversations - which also may alter with each consecutive playthrough - as well as the different paths you can branch out onto make this a great game for replaying. The game even encourages you this, at least in most cases...

There's probably been wars about which game would be Game of the Year 2015; The Witcher 3, Fallout 4 or Undertale. Personally, to me, Undertale wins in that category, hands down. It's just a whole different experience compared to the other two.

If you haven't played Undertale yet, you should! Go check out HERE[undertale.com] to find the demo to it. It's not a full representation of the final game, even according to the developer Toby Fox, but it will still give you some indication as to how deep the mechanics may go.

Even years later, this game still fascinates.
