Mysterious Girlfriend X"? More like Mysteriously Gross X! What were they thinking?! The whole plot revolves around a guy, Akira, slurping up his girlfriend Urabe’s drool like it's some magic love potion. That’s the big hook? Really? What am I watching—a romance or a saliva fetish tutorial?

The art? Mediocre. The characters? Forgettable. The pacing? Slower than dial-up internet. And the music? Elevator jazz meets leftover 8-bit bleeps. They try to pass off drool as “romantic connection.” Seriously? That’s not love; it’s just gross.

It’s trying to be mysterious, but all it does is make me want to disappear. Nothing about it works. Bottom line: it’s a waste of time and spit. Watch literally anything else—even paint drying is more entertaining!
