DAMN THE RATS!!!! DX

Edit upon my completion of Amnesia: The Bunker: For $25, you get a high-quality game. I personally found this game a lot more enjoyable and terrifying than Amnesia: Rebirth. There is a lot more at stake here like you are racing against the clock to the things you need to do before the next refill for the generator or it turns off due to it running out of fuel. I always felt Rebirth played way too safe. There wasn't much repercussion to dying aside from a minor change to the ending drawing plus I felt it wasn't very scary either (not to say Rebirth is a bad game. I would rather play it than Machine for Pigs). In The Bunker, it is stressful and tense. I felt constantly on edge and paranoid because any noise I make will alert the monster to me and/or it deciding to come out of its hole to hunt me. It's even worst when the generator dies as this allows the monster to actively hunt until you get to refilling the generator. The game looks great as well and runs good on my pc. Also, whoever did the sound design for the pistol and shotgun, did a fantastic job. It sounds so meaty and punchy. The story is mostly told through notes but I find it pretty easy to piece things together and the VA for Henri and Lambert did great. I am honestly wondering if Frictional has some bigger in the works because again, $25 is cheap for a game like this. Overall, this game was worth waiting through the delays plus a good game to play in the meantime while waiting for the next two WW1-style horror games Conscript and Ad Infinitum.
