It's fast, frantic, and does not require all that much teamwork as everyone can take out anyone else.
A great wild west brain off game.

Beautiful and pretty fun, the movement and weapons feel clunky but I enjoy it like that.

EDIT: I had a discussion with mullacabra and realised that my original review kinda didn't make any sense (I did not recommend the game but said you should support it?) I left the old review below my new one, and both of them touch on different topics so i'd say they're both worth a read, thanks.

APB has had a long and messy life, it was a game too ambitious for its developers.
The concept of APB Reloaded is an open world gta-style mmo, taking a larger emphasis on the mmo part than gta online. The character and vehicle customization is fantastic, and a robust built-in music creator are strong points of this game, but that actual gameplay (driving, and gunplay) feels unfinished. Due to the nature of free-to-play games, you can purchase weapons that are easier to use and more powerful, but getting good with the f2p guns can make you sort of competitive. After the original developers (Realtime Worlds) went under, Reloaded productions took over, and introduced the free-to-play model we see today. Unfortunately the company made promises to fix the game that they ended up breaking after seeing the poor reception of their relaunch. Fast forward many years later and Little Orbit picked up the rights. LO have the same goals, to support and fix the game. It's still early to predict anything, but APB is in the best state its been in forever. Give the game a try, it's free to play and if you like it please give your support to developers and maybe even participate in dev streams, forums, or community events.

OLD REVIEW (read it if you would like, does talk about a few different things i skipped above)

I played this game alot about 4-5 years ago, and simply stopped because the gameplay was horribly unbalanced and Gamers First didn't care as long as we were still throwing money their way. Their broken promises and montization efforts killed what little chance this game had. But now little orbit is under control and I get it, releasing cosmetics and ignoring gameplay problems seems like a kick in the teeth when they promise to fix this game, but the company needs to make money so it makes sense to keep working on it, the cheating won't go away until the engine upgrade, which is probably 75% done at this point in time. Fixing the exploits now when the game is moving engine versions is pointless, as those fixes may not work on the newest build, wasting developer resources. We need to give this game time to rebuild, but we need to support little orbit to make this happen. I see a strong future for this game, a future I want to be a part of.

EDIT:

Overkill fixed quite a few bugs and crashes, so now i can say it is playable, meaning it is now a good game imo :P

THIS GAME IS BUGGY AS ♥♥♥♥, GET YOU"RE STUFF TOGETHER OVERKILL
This game is not worth it right now, i have lost and raged too many times over the stupitest netcode and broken mechanics too much to say that this game is at a state where i can say that you should buy it, DON'T.
Go buy PAYDAY: The Heist. It is so much better

---------------------------------Original review below-----------------------------------------

As you can tell, i've played this and the first game A LOT, i recommend this game who has friends that are willing to play with you, but that doesent mean this game is great in every way.

PROS:
- Awesome sound
- Lots of people online
- Good gameplay
- Easy to level up
- Great teamwork game
- Lots of fun with friends

CONS:
- VERY buggy (enemies walking through walls, cloaker range op as ♥♥♥♥)
- Bland graphics
- Too much DLC
- DLC too expensive
- Lots of missions and weapons locked behind DLC
- Team AI is complete ♥♥♥♥ (play with friends for the love of your sanity)
- Very boring while soloing
- Way too easy in a lot of cases
- Console versions are made of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

If you hate glitches in games, then skip this, if you don't mind it and want to cook some meth and get paid with your fellow criminals, then this is for you.

6/10 - PAYDAY: The Heist is still better, this game is borderline playable -Hayden Wong
