As a Romanian, when Mia said ciorba de legume I felt the need to eat some.
As for the design, the whole village aspect of the game brings me memories from my grandparents, with every single element there being found in a Romanian village. And also lei.
The game itself is amazing, nothing to complain about.

This is by far the worst DLC ever created. Had spent 1 hour farming resources for the final fight, full of healing and stun pots. Still got 3 to 0 at the final fight with the minotaur and the rest. Getting 1 shot by him and 2 shot by the mage skeletons and zombies is not in any way fun or at least fair. And by no way would I like to retry something like that just to know that I will still get 1 shot no matter how I play. Anything in gaming that forces a game that can be completed single to be necessarily played in multi/co-op is the most frustrating thing.

Just awful. There was no play testing for this at all. Its near impossible to get all blue ribbons and you cant even go to a specific wave, you have to do EVERYTHING all over again if you fail even one. Imagine not getting blue ribbon on wave 15 because the idiot ai is killing itself. Unbelievable.

Was looking through upcoming games and saw this. It looked awesome, a modern doom-styled game, so I said why not.
It was pretty fun, the guns had a interesting take on them (though the starting gun is pretty busted with a mouse clicker).
Enemies looked alright, but there was only 2 or 3 of them: a zombie with arsenal based on yours, a ranged imp and a melle imp/pinky (kleer from serious sam). The biggest hit is that, I finished the campaign in just 90 minutes. If you're a doom fan or a good fps player, this game could keep you entertained for about that amount of time. You can spend some more going for all kills and secrets or play a survival gamemode where it pitches you in a location from the campaign's levels with nowhere to run against waves of enemies. Other than that, fun but kinda cheated for the price based on the length of the game.

First of all, exclude all the whining of the "DOOM 2016 is better because more ammo, bla bla bla" and the mas-... sorry, I mean "MASSIVE" performance issue and info steal that they introduced with Denuvo (big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deal honestly), this game is best way they could've improved the previous title.

Every weapon and every mod has it's purpose. Snipe weak spots with Shotgun's sticky frags or Machinegun's scope shot. Air? Ballista's arbalest. Mobile enemies? Freeze them. Or just kill them all with BFG, because yes.
Super shotgun. Simple design upgrade of a close range weapon. Why not, MAKE IT EVEN MORE OVERPOWERED? GIVE IT A TARGET SEEKING CHAIN TO PULL YOURSELF TO THE ENEMY AND SMASH THEM UP CLOSE. PUT THEM ON FIRE AND WATCH THEM SLOWLY BURN WHILIST THEY LOOK HOPELESSLY TO YOU APPROACHING THEM. How just a simple thing can be such a fun gamechanger and for the better. In-depth upgrading system, with a large variety of different paths to choose from makes every game you play unique.

Not to forget about the impressive level design, better than having almost every level inside a mars factory but on different planets, dimensions and whatnot. Every 90° is a picture in itself, combining into an immersive world of graphical success - Art. The music, eargasm (The god Mick Gordon - Exudia's Hell Knight encounter had me creamed). The *pop* whenever you get a headshot. Recreating the beloved enemies of the original DOOM, along with a lot of different ones as well, really puts your mind at work, thinking strategies and finding counters.

Last but not least, the best aspect that I personally love about the game. The extremely big change in the playstyle of the game. The combat became mobile and fast-paced, every second is a decision to make, every action could lead to an easy fight or an easy death. The dash, the meat-hooked Super Shotgun, monkey-bars, help the game expand into something that it never was and it did it well.

I'm undoubtely happy with how the game turned out. The game could very much top the leaderboard for game of the decade and it will especially stay that way for years to come.
