Don't buy this game, unless you're okay with becoming consumed by an obsession you don't even understand.

I blinked and 35 hours went by in 3 days... Send help.

Early Access Review
Love it, right up my ally and they're going in the right direction.

Not gonna lie, it needs some work still- but I'm digging the mechanics, and what they have put together so far for the campaign is pretty dope. If they can nail down the map generator for infinite mode, I'll play it a lot more- right now the terrain it generates is a bit boring compared to what you see in the campaign.

Another Bethesda instant classic.

It's got a good deal of bugs I've encountered so far; but nothing that's a show stopper, Only 1 real crash. If some minor immersion breaking bugs are a big deal to you, wait till the first patch.

If not- the story is rich and extensive. 80 hours in and I'm still running into unique and interesting random encounters; and still haven't finished the main story line.

Awesome game, great mechanics and almost no bugs. Feels like a game I've been waiting to play before I even knew about it.

I do wish there was some kind of new game+ feature, where you just grow without the story, jump between solar systems and a small colonization function. I want to play a new game, but I don't wanna deal with the story.

Made me sick in a good way.

Never had a game so weird that I got nauseous from how twisted my head had to get to solve its puzzles; the crazy perspectives really fk with you- its like the vertigo Olympics. Kinda cheesy- but it's cheesy also in a good way.

Feels like an instant classic.

It's going to need work. However; it is beautiful and I always love this kind of aesthetic. I can wander around the city for hours just killing bad guys and enjoying the scenery.

Not a bad game, but extremely reminiscent of Roller Coaster Tycoon 2; down to the Campaign map layouts and rides. So its a good pick if you havent played that series before, if you have- be ready to play pretty much the same game. The only real difference is the employee path mechanics, that really don't add much to the game.

But the game runs very smoothly in comparison to modern Theme park games like Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo; even with a very high visitor count.

All in all, I would recommend this game if you're a big fan of theme park games. If this is one of your first- just go get Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, it's cheaper, and IMO a slightly better game as far as mechanics go.

I don't write reviews often, and I don't play decision making games ever.

But this is easily top 5 favorite game story lines for me. The characters are very well written, their growth and progression will stay with you for hours if not days after you finish the game. I am about to start my second play through now, after literally finishing the first one a few hours ago. A single play through might last you 10-13 hours if you take the time to explore everything.

The only issue I had at all with the game, the controls can be a little clunky at times; but it's really easy to overlook that once you become mesmerized by the beauty and detail of the chapters, and the depth of 'Detroit: Become Human's' characters.

5/5 stars by far.
