Calling this game a spinoff of Persona 5 would be a disservice. Despite a huge difference in gameplay Persona 5 Strikers feels more like a proper sequel. Not only that but I can wholeheartedly say that I had more fun with P5S than with the vanilla Persona 5.

Persona 5 Strikers, at its core, is a Musou type game with Persona mechanics. Meaning, a hack'n'slash with hundreds of enemies and some RPG elements. And surprisingly such combination works very well. The production values are quite impressive, with a brand new story reuniting the Phantom Thieves together, as well as introducing some well-developed new characters. The way the characters interact feels like a proper Persona game, and while the core story isn't anything groundbreaking, it is still very well presented, with some nice twists here and there. Honestly, I think I enjoyed the story more than the vanilla Persona 5, mainly because the characters we interact with are not just simple one-dimensional villains like in the original.

Despite lacking the social-life aspect of previous Persona titles, many other elements unique to that series are present in Strikers. And the action-oriented gameplay works very well with them. Kind of brings back memories of the Devil Summoner series from the PS2, only better and even more dynamic. With several different playable and customizable characters, as well as dozens of Personas to fuse for the main character, the hack'n'slash gameplay doesn't get tedious too fast. Mashing buttons won't get you far, as there's still a need to be tactical and aware of enemies' affinities. That said, even though I'm no action game expert, I've found the controls to be very intuitive and comfortable. Rarely had any issues controling the characters or running around the environment.

The game looks and sounds great. The style is very similar to Persona 5, and the new music is very catchy, whether in battle, dungeons, or during free-time. Environments are numerous and varied. This goes for both the dungeons and the Japanese cities the party visits during their trip.
The game runs at 60fps and the PC port is honestly surprisingly good. Never had a single technical issue and the game ran very smoothly with no frame drops whatsoever.

Whereas the original Persona 5, for me, got tedious very fast, I've found Persona 5 Strikers way more enjoyable. To the point I've started the New Game + on the highest difficulty only to appreciate it even more. Sure, there are some flaws, obviously, but my point is that the game is really good and every fan of Persona 5 should give it a try. Other people maybe not so much, mainly because Strikers is a direct sequel to Persona 5, which I'd suggest either play or watch beforehand.

Overall, a great game that doesn't deserve to be called a spinoff, because it's much more than that. I've had tons of FUN with Strikers and I'm pretty sure I'll replay it again someday.

Honestly, I don't mind this DLC and I'd lie if I'd say I didn't make use of it.

It's essentially two grinding maps. One gives you items that you can sell for a lot of money, the other gives you items you can use to level up demons faster. You still need to grind for both, but it's less tedious than doing so by normal means. Not to mention, much less time consuming.

You don't need it by any means, especially if you're not concerned about the achievements, or you're playing on normal. But if you want to complete the Compendium, get a skill on a demon a bit faster, or you want to make a lvl 99 Jack Frost with maxed-out stats, then this DLC is a time life saver.

That said, I'd suggest using this with moderation. You can pretty much cheat and break the game if you abuse this, removing the challenge and defeating the whole purpose of playing the game.

SMT III: Nocturne is a classic. One of the better of the Megami Tensei series and one of the best among the jRPG genre. Think "demonic pokemon", where you adventure through a bizzare, post-apocalyptic world, full of demons, spirits and alike, and ally yourself with various demons to customize and use for your team. A great, challenging, yet satisfying dungeon crawler with a unique theme that quickly became a cult classic.

Sadly, the HD Remaster is little more than a port of the 2003 Playstation 2 game, with VERY LITTLE improvements or additions. The graphics haven't been improved much, aside from higher resolution, the game is locked to 30 FPS, the controls feel stiff, and the music still uses the original, compressed audio from the PS2. Plus there's the Denuvo DRM that may cause issues for some people.
Pretty much the only new thing is the added Voice-Acting (JP and EN), and the ability to hand-pick skills during demon fusion, aside from some very minor tweaks.

Honestly, this wouldn't be too bad on its own if it wasn't for the ABSURD asking price, and a bunch of additional day-one DLC. The game is way, WAY too expensive for what it is. Naturally I bought it anyway, but that's simply because I wanted to replay Nocturne for years now, and having it on PC is kind of a dream come true. Or just call me a fanboy, or an idiot, or whatever. I was fully aware of what I was getting into and personally I don't regret it. The game is still great after all those years and it works fine for me on PC, so the decission to pre-order it was just me being eager to play it.

That said, it's very much overpriced. If you're not a hardcore Megami Tensei fan, then wait for a discount. A big one. Nocturne is a great game and I highly recommend it, but let's not cheat ourselves by saying releasing such low-effort ports for such a high price is fine...

Well, now I understand all the negativity towards NGB... If you haven't played any previous Gundam Breaker then the game might not seem too terrible. But it's a huge, HUGE step down even when compared to the very first Gundam Breaker.
It's just not the same game anymore, and all the great mechanics from GB2 and GB3 are either removed, or changed for the worse.

Not only assembling your unit is completely gimped, but the game itself has been turned into some weird, slow, objective-based MOBA with poor controls, even when using a gamepad. And the less I say about the cringeworthy and pointless school-drama "story" the better...

Again, the game doesn't seem completely terrible, I might have some fun with it, but it's just not the same game anymore. Should Bamco release Gundam Breaker 3 on Steam at some point then I'd buy it in an instant again, even for a full price (already played it on the PS4). This game, however, just isn't worth more than a few bucks, at best.

UPDATE:
Ok, after playing for about 20 hours I have to say, this game is incredible!

It is incredible how much they've managed to f-ck it up on so many levels...

Again, if you have no experience with previous Gundam Breakers, then this might be a decent game for a while. Otherwise, it's just frustrating and sad to see how almost everything has been changed for the worse. It would take too much time to explain it all. In short, it's a very mediocre game and I hope Bamco won't repeat the same mistake and the next entry will be a proper satisfying hack'n'slash like GB3 was. Or at the very least they'll release GB3 on Steam.

A test of patience... I've enjoyed most of the Borderlands 2 content so far, but this DLC is just awful in almost every regard. The maps are mostly bland, huge, empty deserts, the new characters are not funny, but rather annoying and obnoxious, and all of the missions are boring fetch-quests with nothing interesting going for them. I'm forcing myself through this content mainly for completion's sake.

It's fine, I guess... Short, linear and simple jRPG with Zeboyd's unique sense of humor.
It was fun for a while, but got tedious really fast. The combat system is unique, but the battles take quite a bit of time. No auto-battle or attack-spam. This should be a good thing, but in this case it wasn't - the combat wasn't difficult, just long, due to enemies having a lot of HP, but dealing little DMG. As a result I had to forced myself to beat the game.

That said, it wouldn't be fair to give this a thumbs down. The game, for what it is, is made really well. And honestly, I bought it mainly because Cosmic Star Heroine is also included with the purchase, so you're pretty much getting two games here.

The concept seemed cool to me at first, but sadly the "game" leaves much to be desired.

This was supposed to be an endless runner(rider/driver?) with some nice aesthetic and synthwave music in the background. However, the "game" requires you to constantly keep your nitro bar within the 'safe' zone. You cannot let it drop down too much, but cannot keep it active for too long either. Combined with terrible controls, that make it difficult to even drive straight, the experience simply is not enjoyable for more than five minutes. I imagined it would be a laid-back ride to relax and listen to the music, but the need to constantly be aware of the nitro bar at the bottom of the car and the controls ruined it for me.

And yet, even though the game has no end or goal, the achievements require you to drive for 90 minutes straight... No saves or checkpoints. You don't have to do this, obviously, but it's the only thing that can be considered an objective in OutDrive. Good thing you can pause and alt-tab, to play it all in a few shorter sessions.

The music is really great if you like synthwave, but sadly cannot be listened to outside of the game (unless you alt-tab the paused game). And the DLC soundtrack is just a few songs in WAV format, whereas there's much more in the actual "game". For something that gets boring after 15 minutes or so it's kind of a big deal. I've listened to most of it alt-tabbed personally, but I'd rather have the mp3s.
The rest of the sound effects are not great. The engine is really quiet and the tires sound like something taken out of the Flinstones cartoon...

OutDrive is not completely "bad". If you're fine with a short title to play for a while and forget, then get it during a sale for a buck or less. Just be aware what you're getting into. The trailer makes it look better than it actually is. You have to experience the terrible and loose controls to understand what makes this experience unpleasant.

Overall, meh... The concept was great, but it just wasn't handled correctly. And I'm still mad about the incomplete OST.

Not feeling it... At all... I'm just a casual fan of rhythm games, but can't really enjoy Pulsen. The songs are obviously a subjective matter, but there are far too many weird chiptune and ear-piercing electronic themes for my taste (the trailer should give you an idea of what to expect). But the main issue is that the game simply doesn't have anything special going for it. It's just like a DDR/Stempania clone with no interesting backgrounds and some really annoying effects during some songs. Not to mention, the notes themselves often feel like they "play" a song of their own, as regardless of the difficulty setting I simply cannot "feel the rhythm" to get into a given song. It feels as if I'm just pressing random arrows as the music plays in the background.

May be fun for a while, and some people might enjoy it more if they like the music, but the game is certainly not worth the asking price.

Muse Dash is quite an amazing rhythm game, even though at first glance it may appear simple and silly. And in a way it is, as it's a port of a smartphone game that only uses two "lanes" for its notes, and the whole theme revolves around a trio of anime girls dashing through various cartoony enemies. As a whole it's a solid package that feels fresh, is easy to get into, but gets much harder later on.

The gameplay is a mixture of rhythm game and a runner. Our character runs to the right constantly, and approaching enemies, obstacles, or bosses are the "notes". Even though the game only uses two buttons the game is still quite enjoyable and replayable. There are several characters to unlock, each with different bonuses, as well as additional helpers called Elfins, that offer additional benefits. Some help to get a higher score, others work as supports, heals, or temporary buffs. Players can mix and match their characters and elfins to either boost their high score on a given track, or simply beat the level easier. This alone makes the game quite fresh and replayable as it encourages trying out different combinations.

What's best about Muse Dash however is that it's laughably cheap for the content it offers. Even though there is a more expensive DLC/Season Pass available, the base game has over 30 songs of various difficulties, which alone will offer several hours of gameplay. The DLC only expands this even more. As for the music itself, as always it's mostly subjective. There are some tracks I disliked, but overall if you've got nothing against asian pop, vocaloid or instrumentals, then you should enjoy or tolerate most of it. The overall theme and artstyle is also nice, even though I some stages are too cartoony for my taste.

Overall strong recommendation on this one. The game has become my "go-to" game when I've got 5 minutes to spare. It's easy to get into and have some fun, especially when you're not in a mood for a more difficult or demanding title. Sometimes you just want something simple, and Muse Dash delivers. But as stated previously, "simple" doesn't mean "easy", as some later difficulty levels should challenge even experienced players. There are also numerous in-game trophies to earn, although sadly no Steam Achievements.

Some gameplay to get the general idea of how the game plays:

Ach, ze geeman joks, ja, zo gut und fantastich, ja! Volkswagen und whatever...

It's a simple "flash" type of game... Absolutely NOT worth the full price... It's all right for a buck or so. The game has some nice mechanics that will keep you entertained (and/or frustrated) for a while, but the "theme" gets old after 10 minutes. Plus, the music loop got on my nerves quite a bit.
The trailer makes it look better and funnier than it actually is.
