Master Bladesmith is such an unique game for what is offers. Smithing swords, fletching bows, using said swords and bows in a gauntlet is alot of fun. Challenging too. It can get very grindy and its hardly a fun combo if you are standing up straight in VR waiting for the mines to generate gems for even more smithing. I can safely say I enjoyed it and it's a shame that it's still too buggy to truly shine, but that will sadly not get fixed. This is why I leave a negative review. If you think you can handle the bugginess the game offers, then it's worth picking up on a sale. 70% off or more maybe.

The most interesting part about the game (as you can read from other negative reviews) is about the dev essentially giving up halfway on the game's development. While the game remained in early access, the dev decided to instead work on another game instead of fully developing this one, as stated in the latest steam post by them. This next game, with no doubt in my mind, will also be released in early access, and can easily be abandoned the same way this game was. I don't wish to pre-emptively leave a negative review on a game that doesn't exist yet, this is simply a cautionary warning for people who wish to see more of this dev's work.

Team Fortress 2 is an FPS shooter where one attacking team pushes against a defending team, with a choice of 9 playable characters suited for different approaches and situations. It's a very simple game, and one easily picked up to play, is what I wish I could say. Although it's a fantastic game, it is borderline unplayable due to script-kiddies, bot hosters and straight up criminals that dox, threaten and swat people. Not to mention the impersonation of online figures in a defamation attempt by spouting transphobic, racist remarks in their voice. This is actually quite incredible, I can't think of any other game on Steam with such a criminal underworld, much less games that aren't on steam.

If you install the game now and queue for a casual match (the default and fastest way to get into a game) you will very soon figure out why I have this review on negative. In 9 out of 10 games you join, you will meet either bots or cheaters that makes the game unfun to play. Joining a community server (player-hosted game) is the best way to have fun as it is moderated unlike the main game, but depending on who you are, bots and cheaters will follow you and attempt to ddos the server you play on. Playing Community isn't a fix, as much as people tell you otherwise.

This review will not change, I'm sure of it. As someone with an expensive inventory, I would like for this game to be shut down rather than having it kept going the way it is. It's running on life support solely from cosmetics you can buy in the store, or keys to unbox relevant crates for cosmetics atleast. I understand why it's a difficult task to properly ban or moderate the game, but it is continuously supported by Valve, and by the fact people buy said keys. If they will not update the game further, then I wish to hear it from them. The silence is deafening more than ever now. What I wish for is that Valve hasn't been deafened by it.

What a fantastic game. I have enjoyed my time with the experience, and I am ecstatic to say that this game is worth getting afterall. The mandatory PSN Account Linking will not be going through, meaning I can indeed go back to blasting bots and bugs without my information being leaked through Sony, only through other systems instead.

Nothing can match the magic of this game. DDR to summon bombardments, tons of different ways to spread democracy, and complain to team mates they don't know what line of sight is. If you have friends or you're social enough to play with strangers, pick it up, it's worth it. You can play single player, but it isn't properly scaled for it.

Windlands 2 is using all about using your grappling hooks to traverse the landscape by latching on the ''greenery'' you find all the where you look. Through the jungle, the desert and the volcano, your sense of exploration is unstopped. You are also armed with a bow which, obviously, hurts the enemies and defeats them when you shoot them enough. I didn't play Windlands 1, so this will be a standalone review. I am also writing this review prior to finishing the game. But the question is if this swingin' adventure is worth the wind in your face when you soar through the air?

Pros;
The Graphics are simple, yet it portrays a satisfying eyecandy seeing how the landscapes are built around this style. You probably won't stop to admire it, but it will look nice in the corner of your eye when you focus on grapping about.
The Gameplay is the big seller here. The grapple system is alot of fun, just seeing how fast you can go until your inevitable crash in the wall. Pressing the jump button while grappled lets you extend your rope and descend, helping your traversal more! The bowplay is great too, just hold your grip to quickswitch to the bow, then fire away. It can even be used while grappling!

Cons;
Although the terrain is beautiful, you better get used to it. The story will keep bringing you to them several times, going back and forth constantly. The grappling only gets as fun at the way you puzzle out how to traverse it, until then it becomes a slight chore. Some areas can be quite bothersome aswell, since your grappling hook cannot let you ''swing'' per se. You pull yourself towards the greenery with a little gravity involved, or descend with the jump button. There is no feature to my knowledge that lets your rope stay the same length at all times when grappling.
Some of the bosses set a nice example for what enemies you are up against, but the most annoying part about them is their ''invulnerability'' state. This state happens when you shoot all weakpoints inbetween the phases of the battles, then you are tasked to defeat a ton of lesser enemies to get rid of their state, and it takes much longer than it needs to. Most of the bosses I've fought has had invulnerability states lasting longer than the actual battle against them, you can imagen it gets tiresome. Not to speak of the ''arenas'' you fight them in, which always seem to have poorly placed greenery for where you need to shoot from.

I tend to finish the game, and althought there are alot of minor inconviniences, this is still a great game so far. I will amend my review once I progress further into the game. So far, I'd say it is worth your time.

tl;dr If you liked Job Simulator, you'd like this one too.

Finally, a game about relaxation and taking the day off with a vacation! Tell your boss you're not coming in this week as you travel to a place called Vacation Island to enjoy yourself. Letting off some steam in the water of the beach, or perhaps get some leaves in your hair in the forest, or have some icicles hang from your nose up in the cold mountains. Is this a vacation worth your time and investment?

Pros;
The gameplay is smooth and satisfying, and it has more to it than the last game than just follow directions. This time you are also tasked with examples like having fun with beachball volley, puzzle blocks, and inventory for your photos or different things you collect on your way. It even has a character creation!
The humor is what you'd expect from this title, both from the dialogue. Witty and charming is the name. I can't recall a moment where I felt like I was bored listening to these robots talk, it was too much fun for me. Not to mention all those nice references to things we all know!
The graphics are simple, yet nice enough to give off the feeling you're really there. Every spot you stand on makes you appreciate the details you may spot looking around, makes you even wanna snap a photo while you're at it.

Cons;
Once you do everything you feel like doing, there isn't much refraining you from stopping the game. The replayability is rather scarce, and doing a thing you like alot may only be fun for up to an hour.
Certain minigames become glorified fetchquests, which can easily be a bother. What makes it worse is that you may not always remember what certain npcs want, making you have to go back to look at the menu board. Topping it off with that you may find these items in certain locations of the game, meaning if you have a Beach menu you may need to go to the Mountains to get the items you need. Remember the scarce inventory? Multitasking becomes a big issue.

All in all, it's a wonderous game, and one you should definently pick up if you need a laugh and something nice to do. Even as a standalone, I would recommend it.
