The core elements of the game are very good, probably an 8/10 in terms of story, combat, graphics, etc. I'm only giving a negative review as a bit of a warning that the game is over-hyped.

Game is rather short if you don't do side quests/exploration a whole lot, probably 20 hours or less? Could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your preference, but I also didn't find any of the side stuff worthwile.

HOWEVER, the traversal/climbing/ and lack of fast travel, along with bad pacing, upgrade system, puzzles, and so on I found were very lackluster. I really didn't feel much reward from any side quests or exploration, it was all quite pointless in the end. I think the game would've been better suited without all the extra junk and just have a small handful of puzzles and open-world elements, with a lot more story/combat. Also, the leveling/upgrade system was too complicated or required too much boring grinding in my books. I finished the game at Level 5 (out of 9 max I think) and with gear that I had for about 50% of the way.

I guess the game just never really wowed me or hooked me except in some of the story scene and main boss fights. So I'd have to give it probably a 7.5 out of 10. While not necessarily the same genre, I'd give games like RDR2, Jedi Fallen Order, Elden Ring, Control, Skyrim, and Assassins Creed games higher ratings

Tons of content and replayability
Large Price tag if you want all the DLC (definitely get on sale or accumulate slowly over time)

Meh. To me this game is like the red-headed step-child of Rome 2, and I know a lot of people hated Rome 2 for a while, but I LOVED it, so take that for what its worth.. Attila has a grittier feel to it and is more of a "survival" strategy game, but the game is horribly unoptimized, especially on the campaign map and I'm running an RX 6700XT with a Ryzen 7 5800X. Can't even get 60 fps on the campaign map. The faction variety is pretty barebones and the battle pacing is crazy fast. Basically, cavalry delete anything they charge directly into, but they also drop like flies. I wanted to like it, but its just not as fun as Rome 2 in my opinion. The building management/economy also make no sense. I know its supposed to be hard, but it seems like every building just crams negative effects, so like why even build them? Very slow campaign as well

Best Halo in several years and they absolutely nailed core gameplay. There's a few gripes but I really think its an excellent Halo all around. Feels like a good combo of original Halo games and some modern, but fitting mechanics (i.e. grapple, free roam). Having a blast in Multiplayer despite battlepass and playlists being less than optimal right now.

The "free roam" campaign was fun and the story was the best of the last 3 games (although I didn't mind H4, it didn't quite feel like Halo, and I didn't play much of H5). After the most recent AMD drivers I'm getting pretty great fps in multi - 120 on 1440p using the minimum frame rate feature on mostly high/ultra settings. Campaign I turn it down a bit to keep my adaptive resolution fairly high. Running an RX 6700xt with AMD Ryzen 5800x with 16gb RAM and a bit of overclocking on GPU

The campaign and story feel like they are missing some things and some of the missions are more like fetch quests. The free roam stuff is a nice addition and can be skipped if wanted. It looks like the Campaign will have future DLC as the amount of story we received was fairly small, despite it being high quality. It sort of wraps up and dismisses the stories of H4 and H5 at the same time while leaving a few holes and questions unanswered or just briefly covered. And, without spoiling anything, I'll say it does feel like a "reboot" that's only starting the next story rather than a continuation of last games - once again suggesting there might be some DLC, which I'm actually okay with. A lot of the story is in audio logs that you find and even then it doesn't really provide answers, so its a bit unfortunate that they didn't provide more in terms of backstory cutscenes. Still highly enjoyed it.

Very fun competitive strategic FPS/tactical shooter. Nice variety of guns/operators. Its just as much a strategy game as it is an FPS. It can be a little slow sometimes. You have to spend a lot of time on cameras/drones, but its very fun for a competitive game. I also wish it was a little less sci-fi but theres nothing too ridiculous. And you cant just jump around corners or run at super speed like in Call of Duty.
