Pros
Graphics
The games graphics are great. Really nice looking world that is a pleasure to look at.

Sound Design
The sound design is phenomenal. Whatever team created the sounds for everything in the game such as weapon hits, mining, woodcutting, etc. deserve a raise.

Honestly, that's basically it as far as pure "pros" go for me.

Neutral
Gathering/Crafting
The crafting and gathering is ok, but nothing special. Maybe compared to Themepark MMOs the crafting is considered "good", but when compared to sandboxes the crafting is mediocre at best. The gathering is the same as every other MMO (which isn't a bad thing) which is simply walk up to a gathering node and click a button to begin gathering.

Combat
The combat is ok I guess, but it feels so uninspired and bland. It's not offensively bad so I won't put it into the ♥♥♥ section, but it just feels lacking, like the people that made it didn't put any effort into it. The way you fight mobs is the same at level 5 as it is at level 60. Since you only get 3 abilities per weapon your combat doesn't really evolve or become different as you level. You're not obtaining new abilities to weave into your combo, it's just left click > left click > left click > shift (dodge) > left click > ability 1 > dead, allllll the way until 60. Nothing changes.
♥♥♥♥

Oh boy, get ready because for me there are A LOT of ♥♥♥♥.

Bugs.
There are so so so many bugs. Every system in the game has some sort of major gamebreaking bug. This is probably the most buggy MMO I've ever played at launch.

The corruption portals have a chance to crash your game upon completing them. You also cannot currently complete tier 4/5 portals even when you meet the requirements.

If you die at any point there's a chance your character will stay dead permanently. A few people in my guild have had their characters dead for over a day because it's taking support so long to get back to them and fix the issue. They cannot unstuck or recall to an inn because they're dead.

Bosses that are required for story quests simply do not spawn or do not exist. For example, the "The Living Crystal" quest requires you to kill "The Dryad Beast, Malevolence", problem is it doesn't spawn ever.

Wars/invasions are extraordinarily terrible to load into. I had a war yesterday where half the people who signed up for the war could not load in. They would get a loading screen, then appear back where they were when they accepted the invite. Then another loading screen a second later, then appear back where they were, repeated until the war was over. The people that did load in were

Honestly I could go on and on about the bugs. I don't think there is a single system in the game currently that doesn't have some massive bug that causes it to be broken.

Questing

This game has by far the worst questing of any MMO I've ever played. It is the most one-dimensional garbage ever. At level 10 you have experienced every quest the game has to offer. Go to Settlement, accept faction/town board quests that consists of "kill 5 mobs, loot 5 chests" > return to settlement > "kill 5 mobs, loot 5 chests" > return to settlement over and over and over again.

Now it's not like MMOs have good questing in the first place, but this game takes it to a whole new level.

Server issues

I don't know how, but Amazon, the company the owns Amazon Web Services, somehow have either abysmal servers of abysmal networking code. The amount of server lag that is on my server (EU Annwyn) for the past couple of days has been insane. It will take 5 seconds for chests to begin looting and then 5 seconds for the chests to finish looting. Stuff desyncs all over the place and mobs teleport around.

Mob variety
There is next to no variety when it comes to different NPC models. The wolf you fight in the first zone will be basically the same wolf you fight in the end-game zones except maybe they're white instead of brown this time. The corrupted you fight at the starter zones will be basically the same corrupted you fight in the end-game zones. Off the top of my head, not including animals that roam the world, these are the different types of mobs I can remember.

Corrupted
Woodlands/nature mobs (for example, humanoid npcs made out of wood or wolves made out of wood)
Ghosts
Skeletons

That's honestly basically it.

Territory control and PvP

Man, it sucks because the game was obviously originally supposed to be a PvP Sandbox that got changed last year and it really really shows.

The territory control is uninspired. It really doesn't feel like it matters if you do or do not own a territory. There are some ok perks such as reduced Azoth costs when travelling to a territory that your faction owns, and if your company owns a territory then you get gold from the taxes that people pay when they do their day-to-day stuff like crafting or trading on the Trading Post, but that's pretty much it. You don't feel more powerful for being part of a company that owns territory.

The open-world PvP is almost pointless to participate in unless you're either farming your level 60 faction gear (which only takes a few hours to do) or you're trying to push a zone into conflict. The problem with pushing a zone into conflict is that the system is flawed. Most companies wait until the early hours of the morning in order to make their pushes which means if you're not on at 3am then you don't have much chance to contest the push. The really big companies also just gather up and make a single push instantly pushing the region into conflict before the other factions can even react to it, ruining any chance at open-world PvP taking place.

There's no reason to participate in open-world PvP otherwise. Sure it can be "fun" if you're with a group, but if you're on your own you're just gonna get 1v5'd. The incentive to flag up is something incredibly small like "10% extra xp gain" which is offset by the time you'll spend fighting other players.

Overall it feels like Amazon dropped the ball on the PvP in the game after they tried to turn the game into a PvE Themepark from a PvP Sandbox.

PvE

If you're a fan of end-game raids and dungeons, you will be very disappointed. There are a total of 6 dungeons (known as expeditions in this game) in the entire game. 4 of which you do while levelling, while the last 2 are end-game ones. They're not very long either, I believe most of them only have 2 bosses each and they're not very challenging.

The open-world also doesn't have much in terms of PvE content. There's a few elite zones that you mostly just zerg with big groups of players because for some reason the zones don't have scaling to scale up the

Overall, New World just feels like an incredibly meh MMORPG atm. With time it could potentially become good if Amazon actually stick with it unlike their other projects, but at the current time it really isn't that fun. The game is a jumbled mess of systems and it feels like Amazon don't know what they want to do with New World. The bugs take away any potential enjoyment from things such as the Sieges.

Overall I'd give the game a 4/10 as of writing this.

I love the game so so much the story is the best in any halo games in my opinion but the controller aspect really drags it down I don't find it enjoyable how they've done the over tune of the aim assist it's really frustrating to play against and since i'm a competitive guy I don't like people who can auto adjust to your head and kill u in 3 shots while u have to actually do something

but great campaign and great multiplayer all in all just a few things that drag it down
and it's only gonna get better when they add forge
