I was with this project and worked with its first tester team since pre-release. The direction of the game and the aggressive segregation of certain communities to the 'intended' direction of the game is too much for me to bear these days, and unfortunately, I don't see it changing.
Hear hear. Rex and, to a lesser extent, acro, are vastly more powerful than the rest of the roster leading to serious player ecosystem issues. Within 3 days of Titania launch, I found a 4.0-sized rex demolishing anything it caught up to. I had hoped the Gauntlet would provide sufficient challenge/limitations for such gameplay issues but it appears that players are still able to manipulate the system to get incredibly large and destroy those around them. Obligate carnivores have a much easier go of it during the Gauntlet than mixed-diet species or herbivores. I hope this is looked into.
Good balanced review from you Stoin.
Furthermore if you don't have those talents to counter them, at times you literally are unable to kill them.
@Horknit The official team does not foster terrible behavior, or at least I do not think so. While they are inexperienced and have voiced as much, the higher ups have good heads on their shoulders.
