Only 3h in, but I am already addicted as well as blown away by the beauty of this game even in 2023.
But the best is the atmosphere and uniqueness of this world that just draw you into it ... (no puns intended)

And based on reviews and feedback it seems I didn't see nothing yet !
I cant believe I slept on this game for years.

OVERALL
This game is straight forward masterpiece, a game we will speak about for a long time.
One of the best open world i ever played, if not the best.

PROS
- Immense map with impressive vertical area build
- Minimalist UI while game is design so well that the world guide you naturally
- Lots a lots of build you can create to match your play-style or challenge it
- Improved fight gameplay compare to previous souls game
- Fantastic artistic direction
- Genius world building
- Fantastic boss fights
- Perfect difficulty level (if you are stuck you can go another area to farm or do something else and get back to it later allowing casual player to beat the game overspec if they wish so or veteran to challenge higher level area/bosses when they want)
- Lots of secret to discover with tons of side content like NPC quests, hidden donjons/area etc Its really amazing to explore and find treasure


CONS
- PC port is terrible. Have latest gpu/cpu/ram and still get very often frame drop, freeze, and day one was a freaking nightmare cannot play without crashes etc. A real shame
- You will need a PhD in investigation to understand the full story perfectly. I know its part of souls game to gather the puzzle to get the big picture. But to me it was super frustrating to arrive to some area, beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of mobs and bosses without actually knowing where I am, what is the area, who are the mob/boss to me etc

Quickly do this game and dont rage quit because you struggle with the difficulty in the beginning, you will NOT regret it, I guarantee it.
