The game has potential for sure. But if you have played Wandering Sword you wouldn't want to play this after as it'll just make you miss that game. If you haven't played Wandering Sword then I'd recommend playing that game instead because it's far more polished, smooth and doesn't leave you wondering where you're supposed to go because the quest journal says you have done everything, including the thing you're supposed to be doing next so you're left checking every location once or twice before finding the next step in the story.

The UI is one of the worst I've used. The fact that there's not a default attack or the ability to quickly do the same as last turn during combat feels bad, combat being on double speed still feels too slow.

The grind, I found myself many times during the story having to take a break and then farm bandits in the grass for exp like I was back in the days of Pokemon, sometimes 1 hour, sometimes 2, just to beat a story fight so I could continue on for a while and again find myself in a fight that had me stuck.
Well at least it meant I had the money to buy all the gear that don't exist in the shops I had access to so I am stuck with what feels like an early game weapon while at lv 30+ until I progress the story I am also stuck on.
You have 3 pieces of gear, a weapon, armor and trinket, the trinket is anything from a satchel to a horse for mobility, for some reason instead of just adding a mount slot that would let us permanently move fast on the map without hindering combat stats.

The game needs quite a bit of work, I'd check back in a month or 3 and see what the state is before buying it, can't recommend it with the current state of the game.

I at least will hold on with playing more as I don't want to ruin my first playthrough as I have waited far too long for this game.

The game has more issues now than it did before the 1.0 release.
Armor is pretty much in need of repairs every 2 missions because durability drains really fast, whether the armor has high or low fragility doesn't matter.
Enemies can and will shoot you from the edge of your screen, they will hit because they have no accuracy penalty and they will kill you in very few bullets. If you don't want to die you have to play with a sniper and approach from the left or right as you can look further in those directions.

Bugs that came with the full release:
unloading ammo will stack it onto some random item in your inventory.
Mr Junk will stop selling materials once you do his quest so if you plan to make modules within a reasonable amount of times, do not do his quest.
Splitting stacks will sometimes just fully delete one of the stacks from your inventory.
Doctor will sometimes not repair your armor but still charge you for it.

This game is by no means in a 1.0 state and this full release seem to be only because of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 game being released next month and the hype around it causing extra sales to similar games like this one.

The game runs horrendously, the enemies attack where you were 3 seconds ago(Probably due to it being always online which is a bad design choice) so the combat is you strafing to the side and left clicking as 3 wolves fail hitting you back. The UI is not intuitive and looks terrible, like I think even Starfield might have a better UI.
If you enjoy the game then the price is probably fine as you'll easily get many hours out of the game like you'd do with any other open world survival game but personally I wouldn't even play it if I got it for free as it's just not fun.

One of the best of its type. 10/10 would recommend.

It's now 2024 and the game has gotten even better. It's a free game and outshine most games that's been released in the past few years and it's free!
If you're at all a fan of Hololive you'll love this game.

Hardest game of the year, impossible to beat.
10/10 would recommend if you love HARD games.

Time to go back in and beat it now.

22 minutes of gameplay and that's with replaying a few animations to see how they ended.

"Can you even call this playing?" If not for the animations looping when they finish you wouldn't need to even click anything after starting the game.

Also for being called universe in ♥♥♥ no one actually came outside of the "friendly" alien seemingly laying eggs in you in the the final animation, no liquids to be seen.
I can't in good conscious recommend this game to anyone, just go and buy yourself a meal instead.

Hope to see more unique gear blueprints dropped by bosses in the future.
But yeah this game is really fun, especially if you play with a group of friends.
