I don't think my last review conveyed just how much fun I was having with the game, so now I feel the need to rewrite it. I'll write what I did last time: This game has some polish issues, but they're easily overshadowed by just how damn FUN the whole experience is. I've always disliked playing stealth games, but now that you add strategy and just a bit of gunplay to the formula and you've got this amazingly tight and most importantly did I mention how FUN FUN FUN the thing is? Yeah, the thing you try to get out of video games? Yes, it's so fun! Don't let the initial price tag or monetization methods discourage you; this game is great and I can't stop coming back for more.

Also Tripwire can we please have the soundtrack or at least some semblance of it posted somewhere? Even just as a DLC. The music has been stuck in my head all week and I'm wilting at the fact I can't listen to it on demand.

This game is one giant optimization puzzle with a level of graphic and musical quality that rivals triple-A. I personally LOVE the optimization aspect, I understand that's not everyone's thing but the sheer amount of effort that went into the characters, the writing, the models, everything; it's seriously worth a try!

In a sentence, I'd describe this game as "Roguelike borderlands, but with furry characters instead of grotesque violence". If that's of any interest, I'd definitely recommend this game. The translation can be a bit rough and story pretty much non-existent, but when's the last time you played a roguelike solely for the story?
The characters all have fun and unique styles of play, and though it's not difficult to parse the world builder (or lack thereof) by run 10 or so, it still manages to be interesting all the same. I need to play some more to get a sense for the newest content at the endgame, but from what I saw it seemed like a fun and fair challenge.
In all, a solid hidden gem. Definitely give it a go!

If you buy it exclusively for the OST alone you have made a great purchase.

If you buy it for the good visuals, great gameplay mechanics, challenging roguelike dungeon crawling action, and the world's best shopkeeper in a video game, you have made an excellent purchase.

There's no going wrong with this one at all. Also, get Amplified. If nothing else the final boss' music is probably one of my favorite musics ever.

This is strangely addictive. Very worth the money.
