Need to vent:
I can't recommend this game at its current state, having logged 90 hours so far, they only released 20% of the actual game and its sad.
content that's missing:
Hardcore
Barracks
Working private lobbies
Savable weapon prints
any sort of challenge progression ae: emblems, banners
Prestige
Unique assassinations
lobby/out of game text chat
voice chat quality
functioning invite system
and the list goes on.
I'm trying to enjoy the game but its clear that they only care about the 1% of e-sports players (that dont even enjoy the game) and next-gen graphics.
When it comes to maps, they were supposed to launch with 11 multiplayer maps, and 4 big maps. All I've seen so far is a rotation of 4 multiplayer maps and 3 big. The multiplayer ones are disgustingly bad being 3-lanes, no flank routes, no verticallity, un-inspired copy and pastes of the bigger maps. The pacing of the game- even though they said they were gonna do this- is too awkward, they wanted to make it a slower paced game when it was obvious that no one will play an arcade shooter like that. Its awkward in the fact that the momentum and smoothness is no longer implemented and rather trying to make it up with strange map layouts where you have little to no cover in high combat areas, the tarkov style 'barrel recoil' and terrible clamber,slide,diving mechanics.
You can tell with the weapon smithing that they gave up at a certain point because once you unlock the first 2 receivers, you gain nothing in weapon attachments/looks for the guns at the end of the tree (example: the Bizon having barely any personal customization options), while you can turn a sniper into the size of a sawed off shotgun, shooting incendiary rounds.
In the end, we're in 2022 and I should expect nothing more than a game that was poorly released just so they can make their money. I'll just have to wait for the games season 1 "full release" to attempt to enjoy the game more.

You and the bois trying to flex your breaching? Nah the AI will just shoot you through the door because they hear you say "ITS THE POLICE" as you battering ram that bad boy, not realizing before you check the door and then-- BAM! You see your frontman do a cartwheel as his body flies through the sky from a booby-trapped explosive door.
The games a beautiful mess that reminds you war is heck no matter the circumstances.

Decent game, can't believed they made a full game based off of a Fortnite skin but its passable for a modern FPS

That Deus-Desceptor guy needs to be banned. All he does is take my spot in games. 8/10

For all the hate this game's been getting, Nintendo really stepped it up with Splatoon 3! It even has a Co-Op Survival for people who are new to the ganre. Now I played a match or two and I can see how the technical side of this can really make this into an E-Sport game!

The constant betrayal, thievery, abuse and just plain backstabbing between 3 good friends just trying to complete a single quest is what makes this game great.
We just finished the first chapter after being 40+ hours in.
I dont think we'll ever beat this game.

It was too hyped. The PvE/PvP system dries out quick, vanity items arent special and dull. Dark zone is fun but it gets cluttered quick when you accidentally shoot someone.
