Very refreshing to see a change of course for the Sony account mess.

I've been playing Titanfall 1 & 2 since release (steam hours not accurate b/c all my hours are on origin)

Titanfall 2 is without a doubt the best movement based shooter ever made. It even has a great campaign.

It is also one of the best example of corporate greed. In 2016 Respawn Entertainment was a smaller company that was founded by ex infinity ward leads. Titanfall 1 had a /decent/ reception and was generally viewed as a pretty solid game, and those who had played it were looking forward to Titanfall 2.

In 2016 the stage was set for the massive releases of Battlefield 1 on October 26, and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on November 4th. Gamers everywhere were debating which one would be better, and which one they would play. So what does EA decide to do? They release Titanfall 2 on October 28th, right in between these two titanic games.

Why did they do this? An accident? A lapse in judgement? No.

It was a ruthless business move. EA purposely tanked Titanfall 2 to devalue Respawn Entertainment and they proved this buy completely acquiring the company almost exactly one year later.

In the recent years and up until very recently Titanfall 2 has been in shambles, everything from broken servers to long lasting DDos attacks conducted by someone trying to steal the source code (look up operation redtape). The game is in a working state now and has tons of new pilots, which makes me very happy to see.

The game is great, I highly recommend it.

But do not forget:
1. EA killed this game from the beginning, and they have proven that they do not care about it.
2. All work for Titanfall 3 was completely scrapped after the success of Apex Legends.

+ LOTS of promise, and generally trustworthy devs
+ looks good (missing a lot of effects though)
+ Feels very kerbal
+ cool new QoL stuff, like multiple vehicles in one editor, interacting with parts while freezing time, tutorials, etc

- not optimized (but we knew it wouldn't be)
- not feature complete (we also knew it wouldn't be, and I challenge you to think of a game in the last 5 years that has been)
- bugs (it's kerbal space program)

Pretty fun to play and has a good vibe/soundtrack

It's literally halo, idk what to tell you

Great game - easy to lose a few hours playing

Great game, excited to see where it goes, just needs more players.

Highly recommend this game, definitely try and play it in one sitting if you can (its about 2 hours).

This game is not done.
This game is not optimized.
This game has so many bugs.
This game had loot crates in an early access game.
Just dont.
