Great game. Endless possibilities to create. Even more fun when playing with friends. And hell.. 9 years after release it's still getting regular support and only just had it's "final" and biggest update so far, adding TONS of new items and creative possibilities.

a great great game, perfect for a laugh with your friends.
though you can have a lot of laughs with it, you can also play it fairly seriously, giving everyone their own role, making sure you can stealth your way through a level, getting away with all the loot without anyone being any the wiser, except for those you bind of course

Pretty fun game to be honest, specially if you have some friends to play it with.
it's not all that challenging or hard to play, so it'll be fun to play with less experienced friends too.

problem is that it's FULL of bugs:
-sometimes you and the rest of the planes spawn invisible and can't seem to hit or be hit
-somtimes you're stuck in your spawned position, no way of getting out. stalling won't work, boosting won't work. you're just stuck like some sort of airplane shaped turret
-sometimes the game just doesn't respond to your controls at all and you can only fly straight ahead till you either leave the mission area or crash.

reinstalling doesn't seem to work for these bugs and by the time I stopped playing it was for the sole reason of bugs happenning 99,99% of the time (mostly the one where you're stuck in spawn position)

alright, so i'm sure I'll get lots of 'git gud' ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ comments on this but who cares.
this game is the worst Port I've ver played. I'm sure it's a great game once you actually get to play it but with mouse and keyboard you just can't do half the stuff you're supposed to simply cus the combinations don't work like they do with a controller.

I got this game in a bundle for 12 bucks or so and even then I'd say it's too much for such a badly ported game.
again, I'm sure it's a great game when played as it's intended to but that aside, this game should've never been released on pc in its current state. if any other game was released in this state it would have drowned in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that'd have washed over it by people calling it a 'useless f-ing port' or 'worst port in history'. the only thing that keeps this game from enduring such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is the massive fanbase.

so again, got a controller? go for it and buy it, you'll have loads of fun. don't have a controller? don't even bother, not worth the money.

Let me begin by saying the game has a lot of potential.
sure the heroes/champions are unbalanced but that can be fixed if the devs put in the work.
however.. instead of balancing the game they're going to make it a pay2win system while in ranked they strip the game of its unique selling point: customization of loadouts.
that said, the biggest flaw of this game would be the community.. you could collect all the salt in the world and still it would be less salty than most people that play paladins. heck you could drink all the toxic fluids and waste in the world, and it would be less toxic for you than the paladins community. and the report system doesn't do anything about it. only time the admins do anything with a report is when one player gets a 100 reports or more. (This goes for reporting for toxic behaviour as well as for reporting cheaters)

so if you feel like playing a game with lots of potential but that's gonna get f*cked over in the next update, and if you don't mind all the salt and toxins in the world packed into the community, then go for it!

I definitely reccomend this game to anyone who likes a good story! the plot might seem familiar, big co-orparation that has it's hands on leading technology, used to enslave the general population and you, a resistance figher trying to bring down the corporation. but the technology part is very renewing to me. basically in this game they found a way for normal people to look back at your own old memories but also to share them with others, exactly the way you experienced them. this technology is already very facinating to me (yes yes, it's fake, but i like the concept) and the fact that you get to mess around with other peoples memories, changing the way they remember certain things and thus their look-out on live nowadays is very renewing to me. also the combat system in this game is very smooth and something completley new (to me) though it is quite unforgiving if you mess up your combos (;

great game, the table conversations are funny, and its great to play against your video game heroes. only one thing could make the game even better: an online mode, where you could buy in with your own tf2 items and win the tf2 buy in stuff from your opponents. but yeah ifyou're looking for a great game with some nice tf2 bonusses you have to buy this game.



-edit 2017- Few years after writing this first review I still play it often enough as an 'in between' game. still reccomend it
