I have.. Mixed feelings about this game.

Let's start off talking about how long the game has actually been out. Recently they did a full overhaul of the perfomance and stability, so I'd put a 'true' release somewhere about 4 months ago. Let's name a few points shall we.

The Good:
Massive battles
to playstyle weapon selection
decently designed structures and maps

The Bad:
Not been a new map in over the year the game has been 'released'
Decide to pick weapon and cash grabs over true content
massive gaps in their development and patching
Stale repetitve combat after playing for a year.

All in all, if you're just getting into Planetside 2, It's worth a look, but sticking around after a few months will be daunting. The learning curve isn't as bad as it used to be, but there's still a good struggle for new players coming in. If you're returking after a long break, the changes add a fresh change to the game and will slowly suck you back in. But the lack of content will drive you mad. I still recommend this game, but be cautious, Development, even from a AAA studio, is very slow.
