elden ring really makes you feel like dark souls 3: the ringed city

I played through the game on launch when it was a buggy mess, with broken quests, mechanics, AI, and so on. Despite all the mechanical flaws (many of which have been patched out), I enjoyed almost each and every combat encounter, the battle system is a ton of fun to play with and build experimentation is more than enough to justify multiple playthroughs.
That being said the game is definitely at its weakest when examining its narrative; though the 40K world-building is fantastic, most of the party members and their story-lines range from passable to bland, while the main story leaves much to be desired, especially by the time Acts 4 and 5 come around.

probably one of the best entry level 2d fighters, with a low skill floor, relatively simple mechanics (when compared to other similar 2d fighters), and a flashy and extremely open-ended combo system. the game is well enough balanced to the point that anyone, with enough practice and labbing, can succeed with almost any team combination
