This DLC takes every problem the late endgame of Elden Ring had and ups it to 11. Every boss, no matter size or shape, will constantly spam extremely fast attacks and combos, leaving you with time for only a single hit or two in between before they do it all over again. More often than not, you'll also be too focused on fighting the camera itself rather than the boss, since it's unable to keep up with the giant enemy sizes. Your screen will constantly cluttered by their visual effects, if not their body just outright covering it entirely. And this makes every hit feel that much worse, and frankly, cheap, given you can barely even see their attacks to avoid it. And of course, just like the base game, you will be fighting the same enemies over and over, to the point of repetition.

To be blunt, it's not fun. At all. When every boss is just a hyper aggressive gimmick looking to 10 hit combo you to death, or every mob is one you have already seen multiple times in multiple locations, it all just starts blending together and becomes an unenjoyable experience rather than a fair but rewarding challenge. There is no satisfaction when you kill a boss, just the bit of relief knowing that's one less encounter you have left. The overreliance on dodging also needs to go. If FromSoft want to continue making these bosses more and more ridiculous, they need to properly equip the player with more defensive options, because as is, blocking is mostly useless and parrying is not reliable. I have played every Soulsborne title in the series, and it is just disappointing to see what should be the peak of the series end up as this instead. The potential is there, but as is, I can't really recommend it.
