The point of a cartoonish artstyle is to give low-spec systems the ability to run your game. This game, however, genuinely runs like trash.

The fact that you managed to miss the mark is not surprising in the slightest though, as the entire industry is falling apart.

You braindead corpos genuinely believe that people upgrade to the newest hardware every year so that they can use the newest "lack of optimisation" mitigation technologies. Which are mostly locked behind and optimised for the previously mentioned newest hardware, even though those types of technologies should realistically be targeted towards really low-end and older systems.

Overhyped, underoptimised Marvel hero shooter garbage that uses Unreal Engine 5 and strictly uses DX12 as it completely lacks support for DX11 and Vulkan.

Paladins dominates both this trash pile and the trash pile called Overwatch. And let's not even mention how Team Fortress 2 dominates them all.

Chaotic and unique in today's trashy "ultra realism" obsessed gaming landscape.

Terrible mechanics and pacing. Not to mention the absolutely awful matchmaking and non existent anti-cheat. The game even got completely hacked by some random bunch of basement dwellers. Don't play it, not even because it's a bad game but because it's a security risk.

Titanfall 2 is far superior to this.

First launch, sends me straight into a BSOD. A damn BSOD...

Second launch, doesn't BSOD but takes a weirdly long amount of time to even show anything besides a black screen but it eventually loads. I open the customisation menu only to be greeted by the total lack of
cosmetics which I had in the playtest.

I straight up just don't recommend. That's all.

After putting in quite a few hours (at least for me) I can safely say that this game is pretty good.
I like the price (Specifically when on sale due to me living in the Balkans where we pay Germany level prices while having one tenth of the average monthly income.) to game ratio.

It's well polished and I have only ever encountered one little bug where the game lets you deploy your boat mount while standing in a door. This is not something many people will see or experience at all and it's pretty harmless but it's worth mentioning.

The settlement mechanics are cool and well designed. They actively encourage players to keep the settlements small which is understandable to a degree.

There's quite a few mob types, both passive and aggressive and there's a nice selection of bosses which enable the progression to be similar to games like Minecraft and especially Terraria.

Items are also abundant and enable you to play a certain class (Melee, Ranged, Mage, Summoner).

On the technical side, the game never crashed and is extremely easy to run. It even has a "Low Memory Mode" for lower end hardware which is a nice touch since I know how it feels to play and struggle on lower end hardware.

Now, the game could indeed use some extra content. New biomes, NPC's, enemies, items, bosses and (Maybe?) settlement mechanics. It feels like it can have so much more in it.

To conclude, the game is currently great. It also has great potential to get even better. Best of luck to the devs.
I recommend it and give it an overwhelming 8.6 out of 10.

Same game but released under a different name every year. Surprised that people are idiotic enough to buy it tbh. Then again, this probably has the same audience as FIFA, PES, NBA2K, MADDEN, etc. Overgrown manchildren to be exact.

Also, after a "solid" game of DMZ (mid match) this utter trash of a game found it funny to disconnect me while giving some bs "You've been disconnected from the servers." error. You know, because I finally found good loot.

Note that my internet connection is literally perfect and the game just said:
"Good loot? Not for you fella. Spend 70 euros on our copy paste game first, then you might get a stable experience."

Trash game.

Everyone just plays whatever deck is currently meta and even if they don't have a meta deck they'll still have a trillion negates and protections making it so that you don't get to play the game even if you get to play first.

Great balance if you have money to waste on a videogame like this.

Imagine having to pay 70€ to play something like this. There's way better games out there that are completely free. Skip CoD. Every single one of them.
