Spooky monsters and addicting gameplay.

It's pretty meh.

I love this game soo much! I can't remember when I bought it but it was around 2012 - 2013 It's really a unique game and it's really just amazing. The single player story is really just top quality and although the multiplayer isn't perfect it's still fun to play with other people. A big thing that I loved about the older versions of starbound was the simplicity of modding and the limitless possibilities they had, although recently it has reasonably been a bit harder to actually do "vanilla modding" as I like to call it (E.g. generated items), which makes sense so the new players can actually go onto servers without running into someone who has something that is impossible to get in vanilla game or just giving those simple "modders" (like me) have a chance to actually experience vanilla for the first time and enjoy the story. Overall this is really a great game and it taps into a lot of different genres and once you've reached end game there's still lots to explore, especially with your friends!

I'm surprised this game is free and it's soo damn good!
