Great singleplayer game.
Great and unique gameplay mechanics, with a great soundtrack to go with them.

The story itself is a work of art, bringing us a character with all kinds of issues from mental illness (which is heavily emphasised), to death of loved ones and dealing with all sorts of crazies. The theme surrounding the story is incredibly unique too, both the nordic setting as well as the idea of mental illness of the character being a major part of storytelling and gameplay.

The combat mechanics were different from what I was used to in other games, though they were enjoyable. You are prevented at times from sprinting, as this would take away from the immersion of the game, which is a great idea,

Would highly recommend playing this game alone and in the dark preferably, to get maximum immersion. Use good headphones to get a real feeling of being in Senua's shoes (or head). Ultimate immersion is a must for this game to be experienced at its fullest.
