No man, trust me, AMD's FX was a bad line of processors. There is no way they can optimize for it. The architecture is bottlenecked. Running PS2 is easy on any other CPU, not FX. IMO I'd still continue to get an upgrade with Ryzen if I were you. I went from an FX-4100 to an R5 1600 and the difference was MASSIVE. I can only imagine upgrading to the R9 when it comes out is going to be the difference between a Mazda sedan and a Tesla Roadster. It's really an exciting time in PC gaming for us all. But what do I know, I'm just a random pleb who found you by accident.

I can still run 90% of what I play with it at medium-max at or over 60fps. Just more cpu intensive gameslike ps2 and rust are what drive my performance into the ground, not unplayable just should and could be a lot better.
