The long-awaited second chapter of TCoL definitely delivers on many fronts. Along with an engine change (eliminating stutters that happened off interacting with the UI), it comes with a boatload of new content at a dirt cheap price! No, seriously it makes me feel bad buying the new DLC at such a low price considering how much it offers.

Continuing from the first chapter of the game, the story takes a deep dive into the mystic and supernatural. The world-building absolutely takes a turn for the better, with many new locales and returning ones under fresh and exciting coats of paint. Following in the footsteps of the first chapter, every new character introduced has a memorable and eye-catching design. The newer characters also have slightly-upgraded animations that breathe more life into an already stylish visual.

The new soundtracks added to the game are absolute jams, fitting the mood and pacing of the game quite well. The dialogue between the characters has also seen an improvement from its predecessor. The people, both human or Sahash pull you in by the hand to tell a story that's enjoyably inspired- but at the same time distinctively unique!

In addition to that, the branching pathways spawned from character choices add a whole lot of content that adds to replayablity. My only gripe with this is that often a few dialogue choices from the start of the game determine what events occur late in the 2nd chapter. This means a lot of mashing space bar and M1 to speed through the dialogue and do all the steps again and again to see it all. As of this review, a feature once integrated into the older version of the game (skipping dialogue to choices) is not in the game. (Thanks to the dev response, skipping dialogue is just a Tab hold away! Silly me)

Would seriously recommend this DLC and the game and to check out other avenues to support them and the beautiful world they have created!

Pretty great time to get into/back into Destiny 2. Year 3 looks pretty promising so far,though lacking in the loot variety department. (Though if you missed Year 2/ just started that doesn't matter too much). Year 2 is pretty cheap right now for 25 USD, which includes the Year 2 season pass for all the year 2 activities. Loads of exotics and legendaries to get and grind for in the Y2's expansions. Menagerie, Black Armory, and Gambit are really great for the variety in activities for the game.

A few months after launch, lots of PC adjustments and fixes. Loads of stuff to do too.
