Well, this is one heck of a game! Mostly (if not fully) open world, amazing atmosphere, interesting main story and twists, great engine, great sound, great details. Totally worth it's price. There a hundreds of wonderfull mods available, I recommend only checking out after your first gameplay. However, I also played the other fallout games, and find that -story wise- this story could have been better thought out. I have been frustrated a couple of times how I can not ever ask the questions to the characters confronted with deemed so necessary at that time in that context, where I think in other titles, you were more options and solutions. I am so much looking forward to future titles, even if the story is somewhat linear and narrow like fallout 4 is compared to older titles; this franchise is awesome!
Also, Nuka World DLC is terrible concerning story / linear playthrough, but it's atmosphere is amazing! So goes for Far Harbor, yet that one does have an amazing story / RPGplay. I only wished bethesda to come up with much more story/world content, I'd be happy to pay and play it.

Great game! It has many options, modes, rich set of mods to choose from and a lot of fun ahead. However, I really wanted two options in the game settings; disable deathpenalty and disable tunneling prisoners. These two were introduced during the course of the early access, and basically killed the fun and comprehension to the main game's purpose for me; build and manage a prison.

At full price, the base game, is absolutely worth its money. The career mode is very doable and fun, has a nice and obvious goal set for you, in an extremely fresh and crisp environment. You can create and customise so much, and make a park both really reaslistic and creative.
However, I did notice that the other modes (sandbox et al.) are perhaps a bit too sandbox. I found no premade maps in the game, nor hardly any that suited my tastes in the workshop. Starting over with nothing then a flat map and no entrance of any sorts, is just a bit too plain. After finally making an entrance to the future park, you've lost some tens of hours to get it to point of pure perfection, and you are stuck with just a entrance, and no park, and no drive to persisting. I wish more starter parks were included.
Also, I find the EULA and DRM too hefty. I want mods for this game, more flat rides by the community, and a better running park after the infamous 2000 guests limit, so one day indeed build an entire theme park. I was hoping this to be fixed over the course of years it is around now, but hasn't so far.
Although these downsides are mentioned that are currently withholding me investing another hundreds of hours of gameplay, the game in itself, as I started my review, is absolutely worth it's money and allows for hundreds of hours of fun.

This is such a wonderful game! It will allow you to launch probes and kerbals into orbit and take them everywhere in their cute tiny solar system, meanwhile learning Newton', Kepler', Tsiolkovski (rocket) equations and the basics of aerospace engineering, without noticing per se. Although tiny, it is an open 'world' (=solar system) game of a scale I have never seen before in a game, and the options of designing vessels and missions are almost infinite, if you want so, or well laid out with all kinds of premade quests and all. I have seen this game grow from the end of 2013 (versions .21 - when I played the demo back then that instantly sold the game to me) up untill where it is now 1.41. I think this previously Early Acces game is one project of best example. You will get an awesome game for a really fair price, nice integrated learning curve, tons of Youtube videos at your disposal with in depth info, tutorials and inspiration for your own and to top it all hundreds and hundreds of mods that allow for even so much more functionality and fun.
