Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

It appears that the two week extension certainly wasn't enough to fix one of the most important and widely reported problems in the beta : The framerate drop.

Whilst the tutorial plays with no problems, as soon as you are told that "you aren't alone", frame rate drops to such a low value that movement is impossible.

In addition to that audio breaks up constantly, and the intro movie to the single player mode was stuttering all over the place too.

The good news is that it seems to only affect AMD processor users. Unfortunately the bad news is that this is the same problem that the "Squad" game had last year, and needed Epic to fix it. Whether they actually did or not, I dont know. Its also possible that Strueom are using an older version of the Unreal 4 engine. Either way, its a problem.

The graphics are certainly nice, and the training mission plays without problems, but unfortunately after that, the game falls down. Hard. Into a canyon. Filled with molten lead.

As of now, I would stay away.

Having completed the original version so many times, I was interested to see what the Redux version had to offer.

Graphically, I couldn't really see any difference - it was just as nice as the original. Although you do get the extra missions in this one, there are no new ones, which is a shame.

Not too sure about it being easier than the original - still died a lot in the usual places.

The ability to continually run is a nice improvement, as is the animation when you jump from a height.

The sword is okay - it is only really useful against lightly armoured foes, and so you wont really use it that much. There is no feedback when you hit anything either.

If you have the original, then it might be worth getting, especially as it is very cheap. If you haven't played it before, then it is worth getting (especially in a sale).

Its a very nice, tower defence game, but with a first-person perspective. You do need at least two competent people, as trying to complete levels on your own is hard.

Graphics are nice. Music is limited, but not really needed. Weapons are fine.

This is a very good game - not great, due to the lack of an open world environment, but the amount of action and the continued ability to wreck buildings does make up for it.

The graphics are good - probably an improvement on the previous version (although not by much. In addition, this PC port doesn't suffer from the previous version's lag problem - this is a good conversion.

Story mode is where you'll be spending most of your time. Whilst two other modes exist (Ruin & Infestation), they get boring very quickly, especially Infestation.

Music and sound is good. Voice acting is good too. Story is a little convoluted (and has a few plot holes), but its not bad.

Aside from Modern Warfare 2, I haven't bothered with any other version, as they are all the same. This one is no exception - they even use the same sounds from MW2 in the menus!

Graphics are okay - nice, but nothing special. They do tend to be blurry in the single player game though. You have to go through the "born bind" intro every time you resume the campaign mode - and it can't be skipped!

The whole game is slow and laggy - from the laggy menu, to the excruitatingly slow loading of multiplayer or bot rounds (you literally have time to make a cup of tea before it has loaded - assuming the game syncronising doesn't fail) before you can play.

Movement is poor, with erratic mouse movements and inconistent collision detection. Game matching is poor. Most attempts at game joining fail - much like Modern Warfare 2 really.

The only good part is that you can fight against bots - but even that requires an online server.

It doesn't feel like the game has been in development for three years - it feels like something that was developed for a few months and then rushed out for Christmas. There is little that can be recommended with the game unfortunately. I'm hoping to be able to get a refund for the game, as its not worth hoping that the game will be patched soon.

The game doesn't respond to ALT+TAB or ALT+ENTER, so you cant do much else whilst its loading.

In conclusion, multiplayer is a frustrating and irritating lag-fest. Single player campaign is burden by an intro sequence that you have to watch every time you play it - and it can't be skipped!

The latest updates haven't helped in any of the important areas. The first update managed to mute all sound in the single player campaign - whether the second fixed it, I have no idea, but it certainly hasn't helped the multi-player mode.

I loath this game with a passion - whilst the graphics are nice, its not fun to play - you die almost as soon as you respawn; each round takes 45+ seconds to start; the respawn time is too long; the menu system is clunky and slow in finding servers, especially for Men V Machine.

If you need to play it, then play against the AI - it is much more fun (although still irritating) than against human (pretty much like all online games really).

Its a cross between Space Invaders and Defender.

Graphics are in 3D with some good depth.

Does suffer a bit from bulllet hell, but most of the time bullets can be shot.

Using locations from Sniper Elite V2, this game replaces Nazi's with Zombie Nazi's.

Graphics are acceptable, and whilst it isn't as fluid as Left 4 Dead, it does have a lot more atmosphere - all of it being oppressive and pretty scary in parts

There are a fair few really hard sections, but as long as you keep your distance, things should be okay.

It took a total gametime of 1 hour 30 minutes to complete, on the medium difficulty level.

Overall, its good fun as a single player, and if you can get someone else to play to, it should be even better.
