This game is phenomenal in damn near every way. I imagine some people will be deterred by the game's nontraditional structure, but it truly is an incredible experience to me. The complex and inventive systems, the way the story unfolds in creative ways, the writing, the characters, the witty banter, the voice cast, the art direction, the music, the moment-to-moment combat (whether shooting or stealthing), the variety of weapons, the weapon and character perks (trinkets), the abilities (slabs) and their upgrades, the massive amount of secrets hidden throughout the game, and the intricate level design with its verticality and plethora of concealed paths all make for an amazing game. With respect to technical issues, it's been really smooth for me and I've only experienced one crash so far. While the multiplayer component is super fun and intense, I've had some issues with lag. I wanted to write up a more in-depth review, but I'm going to play more instead because I'm lazy and whenever I'm not playing it, I'm thinking about playing it.
