By far one of the most stupid games I've played, which is its strength.

Can't be used without having the game installed (not considered a Soundtrack on the Steam app).

Game is beyond broken and shows how much Ubisoft care about supporting its legacy games.
You have to modify a file to make the game work properly. Even then, there are bugs and frequent crashes. Avoid at all cost.

A major improvement from KF1. One of the best gunplay in the industry. Very good enemy animation work.

This is Darktide all over again.
Rarely have I seen a game that looks so graphically mid perform so bad.
No matter your GPU, the game's performance will not be satisfactory. You will feel that you need to upgrade even though you don't really need to. That is because the game was optimized with upscaling in mind instead of native..which is very stupid and lazy. Gaming PCs are too expensive to let releases like this be acceptable, no matter the quality of the game itself.
To get an okay performance, you have to make the game a blurry mess by changing graphical options, which is again, not acceptable. It does not make sense that the first game performed very well and this one, which does not graphically impress me at all, does not perform well (Yes, the art direction is good and interesting but that is not the same thing as graphics fidelity).

This game should have been greatly delayed if Gearbox had some sense of respect towards its customers. This trend of poorly optimized PC games is tiring, it is getting so bad that Steam should implement a demo so that you can at least get an idea of how the game will perform on your system. The minimal and recommended requirements are not accurate and should be much more demanding.
We should not have to brute force our way by buying a top tier GPU just to have an okay performance, or entirely depend on upscaling options. Any new game should have at least a fine performance on Native. Performance should always be prioritized before graphics.
