I rarely pay for early access, but this time I don’t regret it at all.

I tried the first Path of Exile but bounced off after a few hours — it just felt boring at the time. Fast forward to PoE2, and after 20+ hours, I’m hooked. It’s challenging enough, offers a surprising variety of builds even in early access, and, most importantly, it’s just plain fun (which is crazy for a game from a somewhat big team).

I'm leaning towards a mixed review.
It's just Elden Ring 1.5:
Main bosses are gorgeous in terms of visual design and god-tier soundtracks, but some aren't really that great gameplay-wise, especially optional ones.
Open world locations are even more beautiful - and even emptier, somehow.
New weapons are fun to use - and really not balanced PvP-wise.

It's just more Elden Ring. Not many improvements were made upon the base game. All of the game's strong points have become better, but the weaker ones have somehow gotten worse.

New UI is a piece of ♥♥♥♥♥. Why was it even released?
Otherwise, the game's fun to play.

Very decent for its price!
Has some bugs here and there (nothing major), also feels very indie, which I am okay with.
