Soundtrack is fire
Gameplay is like paralyzed chicken burned by your partner, if you like them and want to sleep in bed you will say it's fine and eat it whole, otherwise you have to admit it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, sleep on the couch and finish in the sock or something
Sadly the reward for bearing with the gameplay and freezes here and there is not enough to lie to yourself but I really like the music, like 5 simple samples and they are still the best part

Journey comes to an end and I actually am happy for that, cos the next one would have so ridiculous achievs that it would take 6h and 3 computers to even have a chance of getting them

But jokes aside and contrary to what most says I actually liked how it ended. Was it the best closure? God no, but was it at least decent and made sense? Sure it was and did. I enjoyed the story and some parts were better or worse as usuall but I couldn't see it going further and further with what happened already, there is only so much that you can do and doing another "happy" ending just to force us to do what? cosmic puzzles in the 5th installment or maybe go through all other timelines that we've seen along the way? As much as some of these sound interesting I'd rather have them be told by someone else and just see Rufus somewhere in the background or some easter eggs about him being in those places as every deserves an ending in their story to sum up their deeds. Was it a grande finale? In some way for sure and no matter how bitter it may feel any other would feel as bad or even worse from the perspective of another part

Going to gameplay for a bit, puzzles were the most cartoonish here and I doubt I would figure them all out without some guides as brute forcing my way through some would take too long and I would loose will to go further just like with the jackalopes. Again skipping animations often bugs things out and prevents you from moving to plcaes and you have to reload or just play some parts like sauna on "blind" just looking at what icon next to the mouse changes to but if you don't have issue with long walking animations and a lot of others I guess it's almost impossible to notice.
Minigames were pretty good and game itself was way more interactive with all the QTEs... but at the same time I'm not sure if it was a good fit... then again maybe cos of that it felt slightly more fresh, hard to say really as I've seen some people struggle with them and complain, even asking for their removal

Most of the easter eggs were nice, change of the themes and scenery also helped a lot and fit perfectly to the whole theme of changing/fixing timelines... yet some of them were so boring like the amusement park or the academy that only the dungeon crawler bit (Eye of the Beholder was one of the few with 4 not 5-6 people but I guess it could've been M&M or just a loose one, tho the scenery really reminded me ot the EotB) and milking the goat make those parts bearable

All in all beside having the mixture of the bad parts from the previous ones it also has a strong mixture of the good stuff and as I mentioned it tries to add something fresh here and there with also mixed results, yet it's hard for me to call it bad or even mediocre as I really like that it's how it ends (at least for now) and Goal is happy and Kuvaq stands (somehow)

Best one so far and even tho fifth chapter with clones was tiring at some point I still can't really find aything bad about this one
I started skipping some dialogues by the end as just by the actions and next puzzles I knew what is going on (also it wasn't too hard to guess most of the major plots even just by playing the first one so...) but I would still say that the story was pretty good, simple and typical but good
Also all the achivs were least annoying out of all 3 so that's a huge plus if someone is looking for that completionist run and doesn't want to do multiple ones or restart too much as there was just one exclusive at the start and rest is smooth
Last thing to add is that it's again the same goofines, cartoon logic and for some reason this time more cleavage
Good ending to trilogy... which has 4 parts and a solid reason to come back for TCJ at some point

It's a bugged mess if you try to complete it fast (doing some achivs is really tedious and forgetting some steps or not saving really makes you struggle) and overall feells like a slight stepback but at the same time it has a lot more puzzles and they are pretty good and that's what this type of games is about (sacking story for it maybe isn't the best choice but it's just not my type of story)
Aside from that it's more of the same style jokes, more weird easter eggs and overall weird logic that you either like or not
I actually wanted to give it a negative review but I still have to finish it anoter time so maybe positive one will help with that
Maybe if you play it slowly and don't force on some animation skips and "enjoy" it fully to every second it's better but I have to put it under the original regardless of the puzzles and how much I liked them (using game options for one of them was actually brilliant)

Simple, funny and often dum dum indeed
Maybe the jokes are not of a highest level but the game is sometimes aware of that and in overall goofiness it only makes sense to keep it up at all times. All the characters are likeable and all the antagonists are cartoonishly evil which only adds up to the comedic aspect. At one hand it builds on the basic rules and motives, but at the other it just makes it right in a non tiring after 15 minutes way (beside the droggeljug joke that will make you go to a psych ward most likely if you want to do it the "right way")

It does a pretty good job as a point'n'click and adventure game but the riddles are really confusing at times thanks to being silly. Though it doesn't always work as it should as by the end of act 2 when we have to navigate the rails with levers and switches even if we made it through it doesn't seem to work after reloading even if set to the right colors (I don't even remember what made me replay this part like 5 times but after 2 I think I just had to see if it will or will I have to skip the puzzle for some reason) but that seemed to be only bigger issue beside some hitboxes and movement/pathfinding issues.

I'm not sure how long it will take to beat the rest of this 4 part trilogy but I know that I will at some point come back to it with the Complete Journey and that I recommend everything but the droggeljug about te first one.

Brilliant game about apocalypse, collapse of the society, human desires and emotions.

Beautiful artstyle where mix of nice pastel drawings, caricatures of humans and dirty blury background meet to intensify the densines of the atmosphere. Even if a lot of characters feels very simple and flat, it's about the whole image, society as a whole that is shown just by the few people here. Every inch of the world seems to be there for a reason and that maybe mostly due to the size of the gameplay area but it also makes sense that everything is kinda cramped together and there is not much place that isn't being used in some way by someone or becomes filled with trash.
The amount of hidden interactions alone, not to mention the dialogues about the world outside the necessary ones is one of the biggest reasons to play through whole game even twice for all those easter eggs and to relive this rollercoaster again, with some different thoughts.

The only bad thing I could tell is that the ending... it feels like there could be way more added or subtracted to finish it off properly as at least I was left only halway satieted, but at the same time maybe it's better that way, even if the longer ending would be more complete and better it wouldn't fit as much and become just next "hero" kinda story.

It's an amazing point'n'click game but even better commentary on the society

Average novel without normal save system that forces you to copy the files or replay the whole game where 95% of the dialogues doesn't change. But it has pretty good world and the story itself is decent so it's not that big of a deal and copying the files before important choices takes only few clicks.
"Puzzles" if you even can call it that way are pretty simple but you have to look for the answers in quite a few texts or pay attention to some of the dialogues to connect the data for the sheets or overall storyline that is taking place on the side of everything. Personally i could use a "normal" puzzle here and there to connect some stuf or find some patterns and stuff but I guess it's about finding the clues and listening to the story, not so much about playing the game.
Most of the ending are dissapointing tho, and epilogues are even worse but stories and some of the "not important" choices that we make along the way are really worth exploring atleast withing two opposite playthroughs to see the differences
I could see some more games set in this world, maybe not even simple pixel art platformers, but I wouldn't mind just more and better of another detective story (with less endings or humane save system, cos it should be against geneva convention to make it that way with so many unskipable inner monologues)

Simpler puzzles, less psychodelic, shorter and overall feels like a small step back.
The story here that revolves around us fixing Price's mind or Casey? but idk if we can trust the mc himself that he figured everything out gets kinda boring halfway through, and overall it seems like missing something. Whole game feels more like a mix of random parts that are not bad but got connected in a wrong order, or maybe it's just me who missed something.
But the beggining, ending itself and the fact that you can catch some fishes kinda make up for all the mediocre or boring stuff in between

Oldschool RTS with basic mechanics that take us back to AoE 1 times basically

Hard to say anything as it's in very simple state and worked after hours by two friends (if I'm not mistaken) so what we can see is just a tease of what is seem to be in the future. One map that is in the "pool" is pretty boring as it's fully open, units are decent but the idea of making stats on recruitment pips instead of numbers is kinda annoying, also the fact that at certain point doing something else than swordsmen is pointless makes me reconsider if it was really worth buying (not that I've done huskarls spam in AoE 2 and it was fun) but maybe later on the upgrades will be rebalanced somehow and ranged units will be usefull not only on the towers

Tech tree and unlocking factions during the match rather than picking them in lobby is one of the strongest reasons for buying and against it at the same time cos you can fully make use of the map and enemy playstyle with the picks rather than being forced to certain paths from the start, even if the differences are not that huge (yet) but so is your enemy and that makes the scouting even more valuable than in other RTSes

The only bigger issue is that mp often is "slightly" not working after you pass certain pop level but again hard to complain too much about that and I had worse lags for sure
And maybe it being max 4 players, but then again with lags later on maybe that's better for now

All in all it's a pretty decent game and with what is announced here and on Discord I feel like it will only be better (catching fish is a basic need in every game) and i can only hope for the campaign to be playable in coop too. Hopefully in 2025 most of the stuff will be delivered and there will be few more achivs to hunt
