The game is a lot of fun to play LOCALLY (multiple controllers on one PC), but the serious network issues make online play frustratingly unenjoyable. It's mind-boggling that such a small and simple game (compared to other online games) has one of the most unoptimized network implementations. The crossplay feature is likely to blame.
