So far good experience, i mean the hours start to talk for themselves. Tried the game when it launched back in January with friends, we actually played alot and had fun! Now running a session with my bf, in hard mode and it is very challenging and fun!

If you play the game on normal difficulty, it might not be as challenging as some similar games in the genre, but the story is quite interesting and the whole stuff around your hero and the townfolks you gather around seem very cool.
We have not finished the new area with new plots and stuff to do but we can't wait to get to it!

The game for its price is very nice as it will give you many many hours to sink into it, but beware that it might sometimes get frustrating (esp in harder difficulties).
Otherwise, building side, i suck like hell for that and just keep decorating around since it is not the cup of tea of my bf, but he keeps building and building all over the place and asking me for more mats while he destroy every single blocs who is not right to him.

I rarely play with game music on, as i am a spotify maniac BUT LISTEN TO ENSHROUDED MUSIC, they are so good yet so scary! Sometimes it feels like something is litteraly following you, esp in the shroud... then you turn around and... nothing... because there is nothing but the music and the effects they gave. Truely amazing!

So far so good, play this game alone or with friends, both is good!

Cool weapon, got the dark element, collecting them all eventually.
Got it with the pre-order if i recall right.

Worth it if you like to collect or buying it on sales, either way pass your way.

I could not get my freaking lucent without getting this pack lmao. So here i am...
Do i regret buying this pack so i could get my hands on my blue cawcaw ? No not really... was it worth it ? No not really...

Skin wise, it is a solid one, very assassin's creed if you were living in the desert and wanted to burn your shoulders and love running with heels in sand lmao. It dyes AWFULLY and it what makes it perfect.
The mount IS SO COOL but idk what they have with yellow mounts ? Like... there is too many of them with the same yellow color lmao.

It is a solid pack for 100e but only if you plan on using what they give in it or plan on buying for the same price, either way skip it.

Imo one of the best BP currently released.
Kiriko skin is one of the best, they pretty much know this pack is sold because of it.

You get very good skins in this BP, junker and ana being my 2 favourites.
I don't play Widow but the skin is pretty cute though!

The rabbit dyes with your haircolor along many others ''ground'' mount, which is nice and give a little diversity in this universe where mostly everyone is a rabbit.

I'm far from the end game but i will leave a review anyway, since you get most of your playtime during leveling and discovering the game.

So far so good, graphically it is very pretty, it is not too cluttered even with many players (even if i wish we could hide some more players during bossing), music is not too amazing... it does the job.
You can customize your char a bit like you want, i'd say it is missing some haircuts though, see alot of the same ones all over the place but balance between F/M chars is fine, you can see alot of both.

Gameplay side, it is like it can be on Guild Wars 2 or more recently, New World.
Get time to be used to it, since it is not quite like the games above, but once you have it in hands it is fine and quite pleasing to have 2 weapons and sets of skills you can kinda customize like you wish.
Would be amazing to have more tank and healer weapons, as it is there is only 2 ''mendatory''.

You can kinda equip anything as armor and it is nice, i guess there is obviously the BiS but if you are playing more casually or with friends you can easily make a melting pot of gear of your choice. Which is amazing!
Gear is not too sexualised too, armor is armor that's all!

The world is quite immersive and does look good. Obviously there is the sempiternal tropes of ''that is the bad guy area and they don't get to the good guys area'', with classical monsters there and there. But some of the areas made me think of those old fantasy games we could play during the 2000-10 era! Which to me is nice and i had alot of fun exploring them.

As said on others reviews, there is a time-gate towards some of the content of the game. Alot of people hate it as they wish to play the game as they want, more like ''20h a day''. It should be accepted and liked, time-gated or number entry for dungeons or some higher content should be mendatory in games now! Not everyone have time or want to put too much time in games, wish to play others games without that FOMO feeling or the ''i will be too lower compared to others''.

Let's talk about stuff that made me sadge.
THE FLYING ?! DO YOU CALL THAT FLY ? You barely can keep yourself in the air, let alone fly to begin with! You need a double jump to change your form but if you are not high enough above the ground you will just dump yourself on the ground. Hope this will change.

Idm premium shop most of the time, since i am myself an easy buyer but alot of progress is locked behind the premium battle pass or the leveling pass, it is quite fine if you don't mind it but it is a bit shoveled in your face...
Let's hope it will go a bit better with the global release as we know KR love to swipe the card !


Overall the game is fine and since it will be free later after this review, it is worth the try!
You can easily find a weapon of your choice and enjoy the game.

Got my items 1 day after purchase, which was expected.
People says to buy the bundle over battlenet to not have to wait, eventually it could come from steam? who knows, this problem runs since ow2 steam launch.

Outside of this, 2 very good skins for this pass bundle, for d.va and echo. You cannot buy them alone in the hero gallery like before, which is odd and not nice from devs. There is people who do not care about the huge ass bundle.
The fre-e skin this time is a zarya recolor... which is not very good, but we are not getting good zarya skin until a long time i guess due to some... problems with russia representatives.

Very good bundle so far, better than the last one i'd say.
Buy it over battlenet if you are worried about waiting time or not receiving your items at all.

Thank to my friend who told me about this game. Will always be grateful for this discovery.
Amazing design, graphics, music, gameplay... only the price can be a bit too high esp when you are not into tower defense games, like myself.

Outside of this, it is quite the story you can find in... Final Fantasy X, which is nice for me since i'm a huge simp of FF games. Yoshiro is our waifu here and we play as Soh a summon here to help her get rid of the nasties, while she dance dance revolution we kill way too many ooglies.
We can play dress up with her because of the collab with Okami and give her food, because it's important to feed our waifu.

There is many differents ooglies, some are very nasty others are very woah! You can tell they got some fun designing monsters with the jp folklore here. Alot of them have way to kill them, but the usual is, slap them in the face until they die, i mean, it is not only a tower defense.
To slap very hard our enemies, we have a small army of people who are not too scared of fighting them and we can slap masks on them so they learn how to use weapons in no time, there is more or less useful ones but you will eventually find the gameplay you like, esp knowing that Yoshiro moves during the stage, so you need to move your allies to be able to defend her as much as possible. Even if sometimes, dammit they dum.

Overall Kunitsu-Gami is an odd entry in the 2024 roaster of games, it feels like we got back in the 2000 with this kind of cool games we could find with very specific themed folklore when dev were not afraid of giving us folklore themed games (alike okami and such), please keep going guys, we love them so much and it would be cool to have differents games like this one coming from differents folklores !

Give a try to this game, Yoshiro is much waifu!

People complain about progress reset all over the place, have you never played games like Diablo, Path of Exiles and such ? They do seasonal characters too and they wipe it all every time, nobody ever complained about it. It's what make the game worth being played.
You DO NOT lose everything when the wipe happen, scheme, skins, some ressources are kept ! So give it a try.

Game is amazingly beautiful for a free game, music side are very cool and occasional, which make the horror style of the game very nice. Monsters and world building is quite cool and not too much or not enough, you can grasp what's happening in the main quest without doing everything and if you wish to know more, you can learn more by doing side quests.

Translating side, it's a chinese game and they show it to us. I play in my native language and everything got translated with google translation, logs (wood) are literal 'archives', there is little to no plurial or gender, everyone is 'neutral' but you can tel it was not written like this.
Put that aside, you can still understand alot of stuff so it is fine, hope they will go around and rewrite some of the failed translations.

Battle pass there is BUT everything YOU NEED is with the FREE one ! There is only skins and some bonus shops items inside the paid one ! So if you want to support Starry Studio, you can either pay 9.99e or 24.99e.
You do not need by no means the paid bp if you can't afford it or don't want to pay for it.

Premium shop is quite expensive, but it will be shared across all your chars and across all the seasons after the resets happen. So you do not lose anything if you buy something.

Game is very worth the try, esp if you like horror shooter with farming and building aspects.
There is also a very good photo mode, that if you spend a little time doing stuff around, you'll be able to make amazing shot with it !
