take the damn cows out of the game, other than that the new update is much needed.
game has a steep learning curve but is rewarding once you start getting kills.

ui is horrible but other than that 10/10, can't recommend hunt: showdown 1896 enough.

Be sure to check steam player count before even launching the game, if there are 4,000 players online you will never connect to the game. the launcher and its p2p download is so slow, no one is seeding the download so speeds will remain slow.

the game has no dedicated servers but remains at full capacity. I've read comments elsewhere of people idling to prevent others from joining, frankly the game was, is, and will always be trash. thankfully now this hot piece of garbage is free.

can't leave a review on aspects of the game like "animations, gun play, map design" because I refuse to keep trying to make it to the main menu of this game. 30 minutes of my time wasted is more than enough.

The story alone makes it worth the purchase, if you have a PC that can run it.

Everyone says this is payday with zombies, or a bad version of L4D2 meshed with Dead before daylight. This game is it's own game. Yes it has a lot of things in common with payday as overkill is behind the payday games. If you're a fan of the mechanics from those games you will like this game. I loved payday when playing with friends. Right now playing with random players is a pain due to no voice chat.

don't purchase this game simply because it says "the walking dead" in the title.
Only buy it if you like games with the option of stealth or going loud. If you like games with skill trees. and of course if you like killing zombies.

Everyone being so negative because they expected something more when the game was never hyped up to be anything more than it is.

I do recommend give it a try.

Just bought this game last night and i cant even play it, wont connect, stupid ass A.B.C. error ♥♥♥♥. and im on the current up to date version
