No other game in history has ever made drinks look more delicious

If Wes Anderson made a game, it would be Return of the Obra Dinn. Bursting with style, intrigue, and charm, it's one of those ultra-hard mystery games that will stick with you long after you solve it.

Jumped into a bottomless pit and died because a platform caught me before I could catch myself, 10/10

Post-Repentance hard mode can be downright unfair at times, with sometimes unavoidable attacks the moment you enter a room, and bosses like Widow moving far too quickly. Despite that, this is still one of my favourite games of all time

No game has ever quite struck the balance of making me completely despise it, and adore it, at the same time. The stamina and stealth systems are just awful right now, but when that's all ironed out, and every failure feels like my own fault, I'll come over to your house and make you get it myself.

Deeper, more varied, and better optimised BTD5. No voyages, but that's more than made up for by the addition of a challenge creator, where more experienced players can push the limits of their knowledge and face brutal challenges that force them to rethink everything.

The addition of heroes, tier 5 towers, and a third upgrade path for all towers, mean that the sheer number of combinations of towers and upgrades is near limitless. Monkey knowledge provides a slow, but satisfying, feeling of progression to the core gameplay loop.

In short, if you liked the other games in the series, this one is a worthy successor to 5, and worth every penny.

Before you play, be warned, the community in this game can be AWFUL. One small mistake, and you'll have a massive flurry of insults coming your way, as they try to bully you off of the game.

If you can handle that, or find a good game, this game is an engaging murder mystery you'll want to keep coming back to.

Fiendishly funny, charming, and just short enough that it doesn't get tedious. These kinds of game appear all the time, but this one is certainly one of the great ones.
