Hey its the guy from fortnite!

A fall from grace. Rather unfortunate but still redeemable.

Launch was great, weapons felt powerful, enemies were balanced and there was a happy community.
Then came the nerfs. The reasoning? Pick rate. In a traditional PVE game focused on horde control a smart balancing team would likely might take steps to buff weapons to create a larger pool of viable choices. But instead we got nerfs to primary weapons, dps, effect e.g. fire, and even total ammo count.

While the weapons got weaker, the enemies got stronger, higher spawn rates and better armor to name a couple.

This is bad game balancing and the negative attention and declining player count is damning evidence. in a game marketed as a power fantasy where you obliterate hordes of enemies you would expect nothing less, if players want a harder experience they can change the difficulty. But the balancing decisions are what led us to this point. Poor Balancing coupled with the Sony fiasco is a recipe for failure.

The CCO acknowledges that the game has some "questionable" gameplay balancing but patch after patch nothing happens. Seems like a bad deal to me, that's why I stopped playing. If the Devs want to get back to that 60k+ avg player count they need to revert and make changes. I hate to see such a cool game go down like this.

If your answer was yes to all of the following please for the love of god try this game, even the demo is great. You will not be disappointed. One of the best single player movement shooter that's come out this year. It plays like F.E.A.R. but on acid. Only gripe is that the game needs a couple more guns, itd just be a cherry on top.

Playing this game in single-player is like trying to shove a stick up your ass, It's a long, arduous task that takes many hours and attempts to master. When you reach the end, you'll realize it was worth all the effort. Why? Because you can say, you did it.

First of all, this game is only worth purchasing if its on sale, I'm talking at least 70% off. Its a frustrating game to play alone, with friends its fun. Just about 2/3 of the maps are ♥♥♥♥, many of the key social features from previous games such as server chat, etc is gone. But, they did bring back classes, theres hella content still being released and if you have a 30 series card like me you should run the game at a solid 100 fps with the right settings.
