This is not a great game by any leagues.

Garbage bossfights, garbage dungeons and garbage optimisation.

Great setting, great storytelling, likeable characters with motivation and conviction and tough as nails!
Overall a very pleasant experience.

100%'ed in 84 hours. (after you git gud the game gets easier I promise)

First what I liked about this one:

At first this game is way harder than all the souls games combined, partly because the muscle memory you
have from those games causes you die a lot, partly because of the new combat system.

The Shinobi prosthetics often felt a bit like a gimmick but I did have fun using half of them.

All of the endings feel significantly different from each other, which is nice as the quests you need to do for some of them are very intriguing and interesting.

Sekiro has some of my favourite characters in the Souls games, mainly Emma and The Child of The
Rejuvenating Waters stood out among the rest for me.

And now my complaints:

Terror is a bad and cheap insta-kill mechanic but i guess it wouldnt be a FromSoft game without one.

Sadly there arent that many different playstyles, sure you can switch around your prosthetics and your
combat arts but that's about it.

A very low boss count and reusing them very often too kind of made the bosses a bit of a letdown.

My 35 hour ng+ save file did get corrupted and i had to start all over again, but i get that these things
happen so i'm not too upset about it.

if you're in the market for a Sengouku themed rhythm game with interesting lore, bosses that will make you buy a new controller and the cutest rice dispenser ever concieved, Sekiro: Shadows Die A Lot will be right up your alley.

The game that started it all (remastered)!
While the remastering didn't do much appart from adding a bonfire and minor visual changes, that doesn't take away from the legacy this game started.

Formidable boss battles, grandiose locations and a thrilling soundtrack, what's not to love?
NPC's you'll learn to love or hate and an extremely well connected world with a rich lore are sure to captivate you and keep you coming back over and over again.

While looking back after 100%ing DS1, DS2 and DS3 some of the mechanics seem very clunky and weird (looking at you Curse), these only feel odd when you're used to the others.

Starting with DS1 is still the right choice for anyone wanting to get into the series.

An excellent swansong for an excellent trilogy, beautiful sceneries, stunning music and bloodcurdling bosses.
The DLC's are worth it if you enjoy a (very) tough challenge with their final bosses.
Multiplayer (co-op and pvp) are still very active even 5 years after release.

Holy hell that was amazing.

If you're in the market for an amazing hack 'n slash with a good plot, interesting antagonists and banger music, you have to give this one a go.

If the apparent edgyness of the game is throwing you off of buying it, trust me when I say you'll love every second of it.
It's not necessary to have played any other MGS's, but having played MGS4 sure does help with a bit of the plot and lore.
The bossfights are a blast and always feel like a great accomplishment when you finally slice them open.

Finished the game in 7 hours and 45 minutes. with 1/3rd of the achievements.

Easily a 9/10 for me

This has quickly become one of my absolute favourite games of all time.
It's challenging at times, it controls like a charm and is cute as hecc.

Originally bought it for the memes, but stayed for the cutest hat girl in existence.
