Having finished Halo 1, 2, 3, Reach and O.D.S.T on heroic as a solo experience at the time of writing this, it felt wonderful to relive the experience and memories of all those years ago.

I don't know if i could recommend the entire single player package to someone entirely new to the series, though the multiplayer is heavily supported and a great experience that's standing on the shoulders of itself and giants.
The option to purchase individual games should help your decision to experience this historic series, from which i would suggest Halo 3 and Reach for multiplayer and then Halo 2, 3 and Reach for single player.

For any old fans, you cannot go wrong with this entire collection price and the sheer hours you could pump into this game on the Multiplayer alone.
For the Single player for old fans, it's beautifully done with care and attention with the remaster(?) touches and let alone the challenge of trying to beat your memories of your younger self's "skill" is utterly rewarding.

I cannot speak of co-op and the stability for the campaign as i haven't spent enough time trying it out but the most recent experiences i have had on Halo 2, 3 and Reach have been decent with very very little issues.

If any of the teams behind these games read this, you have given me something back i never realised i needed, Thank you.
