If you're thinking about it, just play Destiny 2 instead.

Game is ♥♥♥♥ if you wanna try PvP. Ya'll might as well go back to Dark Souls 2 and deal with all the Hexcasters or katana ♥♥♥♥ instead of this. Cause once yah beat this the first time it's down hill from there. Hell... even the hackers in Dark Souls 2 could actually be fun to mess with. This though...? Jesus Fromsoft... had good ideas with really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ execution.

Boring as hell.

Gets boring pretty quick. But so far, I have not been displeased whatsoever. Won't get my hopes up though either. Just expecting to see an even better game once this is out of the BETA.

Giant Mechs.

DDOS attacks on Trion servers (not just in Arche Age) are frequent. About every few months now. Customer support does not exist. Bots are the majority of the games population, on all servers. The Game Moderators even use bots just to make a large post that tells you "lol not my problem" in a fancy way when you report botters.

The strong prey on the weak. Literally. If you start playing, as soon as you reach open PvP zones (you have no choice after Lv30+), very powerful players will gang up on you, camp you, harass you and et-cetera. Any little thing just to hinder or disrupt your gameplay and ability to make progress. The game is not balanced whatsoever. This goes for both PvP and PvE. Tanks can't do their jobs because they die in one hit. Healers can't do their jobs because they either can't heal enough or run out of MP so quickly they're suddenly dead weight. Trion refuses to release items both free to earn in-game and must be paid for in the cash shop. Instead they introduce "scam boxes" to you in the cash shop which displays a description of what the box contains. You will NEVER receive anything actually desirable from these boxes however.

Players mod their game to gain an unfair advantage in PvP, one such for example is Arche Buddy which detects any player within a certain radius of yourself and auto-targets them if you choose to do so, as well as granting the user a No-Clipping cheat. That's only the tip of the iceberg to. Botters teleport to resource locations so you can't farm anything unless it's on private land. People exploit ANY little thing in the game like strafing in and out of safe-zones in PvP (Safe Zones disable combat, nobody can hurt anybody within these places).

If you attempt to say anything is wrong with the game, you will be rained down upon by people shouting "Care Bear" or "it's a sandbox game" at you. Oh... remember when I said the GM's won't do anything? Guess what. Trion staff themselves never do either. Any issue that comes up that shrug it off and call it "emergent gameplay." They have hidden behind this excuse. Every. Single. Time.

The game is not pay to win. It's pay to progress LESS slowly. The game has hilariously terrible physics that can be and are exploited almost every minute of the day somewhere in your server. The auction house is monopolized by bots whom under-bid everything to drive prices up and buy-out items at the last possible milli-second to deny legitimate players, before turning around and selling the item back on the AH. Raids do not exist with pugs. Guilds that are actually capable of running raids typically shove you away when you try to join them. World Bosses are monopolized especially by some of these guilds, thus denying even more players the privelage to earn powerful equipment they'd have to craft normally. Other world bosses are simply unbeatable because of either some form of glitch or they're simply too powerful.

You will not enjoy this game in the long run. You will not have any fun with it. You will not be pleased with Trions work every single time they get new patch data from the actual developers of the game. Your time, will be wasted and you will quit or the servers will eventually shut down and the only thing you'll be left with is a foul, bitter taste in your mouth.
