I bought this game when it was during the EA portion of the game. It is a survival shooter and fun for the most part. This review is based on the events leading up to this current timeline of how TW pretty much lied and then mislead people throughout the whole monitization history of this game. During the start of EA we got word from TWI that their would be No Loot Boxes as well as no paywall guns. This is what everyone refers to when they talk about this point. People enjoyed the game and even gave a positive review for the game. during the same time they also said that you can refund the game at any point during EA. They erased all these messages and others quickly when they announced loot boxes 3ish months later while still being in EA. The release of loot boxes was given an excuse "These Loot boxes will be used to fund future content and updates." This caused a lot of backlash considering people kept pointing fingers at other companys like CSGO, TF2, and DOTA 2 for doing the same thing with loot boxes. The problem with that arguing is that They are either free and/or have a competitive scene behind it. This game does not have either of those things associated. During the updates they were pretty few and far between. The community roadmap was pretty much ignored because things players wanted and voted for was pushed to the wayside for a VS Mode that no one voted for. They added a last perk to the game to quickly push themselves out of EA to Full Release, This last perk was suppose to be unique with its own set of guns but they went with the lazy route and made survivalist. Now that the Loot Box Whales that TW put all their eggs into left the game for better or newer things. TW is trying to find a way to make a quick buck off its player base. Which leads to now with the $10 guns. If they go this route then they might as well make this game F2P. It will only make sense with its dwindling playerbase. Take note that a good portion of players will be leaving after the update. This is suppose to be a negitive review but Steam doesn't like when a game gets review bombed.
