In the games current state, comparing it to the first. it just feels like a very bare-bones version of the original, missing various features that made the old game play like a survival horror game. leaving it to turn into a shooter artifact hunting game.

Although the game looks very clean and still has the gun-play and artifact hunting feel that we all love and enjoy.
the immersive environments on top of the graphical updates makes it feel no less than what the original had to offer.

I haven't been able to test out the coop, but the single-player functions the same.

In my opinion I think you should get this game in its current form, IF you want to support the devs or just absolutely loved the first game

if you want a much more immersive survival game with its hunger, weapon upkeep, it currently isn't that, but with the updates sure to come the game will evolve into something better than the first.
