Rebinding keys doesn't work, it's always go back to the default binds! Thus, I didn't play this game at all, sadly.

Well... it's Half-Life² lol. Just play it! The 20th Anniversary update is a good reason to do so!

I've completed Half-Life² in 9h00 on Normal difficulty.
Episode 1 completed in 3h35 on Normal difficulty.
Episode 2 gave me strong Halo vibes. The exotic environments, the nature, the journey in the car...Fighting alongside my Vortigaunt partner felt like fighting alongside the Arbiter. Destroying the Striders was just as satisfying as taking down the Scarabs, and the Counselors reminded me of the Prophets. I completed this game in 4 hours and 10 minutes on Normal difficulty.

I absolutely loved Trepang2. The game is visually stunning and incredibly fun. The immersive sound effects pull you right into the action, and the soundtrack fits perfectly with the game's intense pace. Trepang2 brings back the feel of "classic" FPS games from the 2000s—a straightforward, action-packed shooter that doesn't get bogged down with endless cutscenes every five minutes. It provides just enough story to give depth to the plot and develop the scenario.

The game has a dark atmosphere similar to F.E.A.R. but without the horror aspect. It also reminds me of Soldier of Fortune. While the game is short, it's definitely worth it! I recommend playing it on Hard difficulty; anything less might be too easy and not as engaging. I didn't encounter many challenges until the last two levels, where I had to retry several times.

I just wish there were a greater variety of weapons and more extensive customization options. In the end, the only modification I made to the weapons was changing their skins. I completed the game in 5 hours and 50 minutes (without the side missions) on Hard difficulty. Despite its brevity, Trepang2 offers a thrilling experience that's well worth your time.

Straftat is a fast-arena shooter, a la Quake and Unreal Tournament, where only two players compete. A total of 70 maps are available, each with its own set of weapons. The gunplay is pretty cool, with classic weapons (assault rifles, double pistols, pumps, snipers, etc.), but also more original weapons like a blaster worthy of the old sci-fi classics. Movements are fluid and fairly fast. The character looks like a rather disgusting alien, but you can customise him with hats and other fashion accessories to make him even uglier.

Vladik Brutal is an indie gem that truly impressed me. I wrapped it up in 7 hours and 50 minutes on Normal mode. The gameplay is engaging, with a standout sound design and weapon feel. The overall environment evokes Half-Life 2, with its authoritarian-controlled city and mutant creatures from scientific experiments. The design of some maps, overrun with mutants and "cocoon eggs," gives off strong Halo and Aliens vibes. The dark, cold atmosphere also reminded me of Metro. Sure, the AI can be a bit clueless, but considering it's a solo indie project, it’s easy to forgive. Big studios could learn a lot from this one-man show. Highly recommended!
Don't bother with the Normal difficulty, you really should start with the Brutal difficulty!

In a nutshell: a tribute to Half-Life, with Metro and Halo/Aliens vibes

Early Access Review
Military Conflict: Vietnam is a hidden gem that stands out in a sea of casual shooters like COD and Battlefield. This game delivers a gritty, authentic experience that rewards true skill and strategy, not just flashy kills. The Vietnam-era atmosphere is immersive, and every match is a thrilling, tactical challenge. The player base may be smaller, but the community is packed with dedicated players who value teamwork and intensity. If you're tired of mindless run-and-gun games and crave a more rewarding, tactical experience, Military Conflict: Vietnam is the game you've been waiting for.

Jeu trop frustrant si on est pas un habitué des FPS tactiques/simulations. Et en 2024 les serveurs sont peuplé en majorité de russes qui ne font que spammer le chat vocal de leur charabia

Not what I was expected. I thought it would be a real indie BF1942 and it is... but offline mode only. Sometimes you encounter one or two human players but that's all.

Looks like a fun boomer shooter with a Quake4/Doom3 vibe but... I've been blocked early in the game, I was unable to find the main deck keycard ....
