This game had so much potential in its work, and decided halfway through the acts to take a turn for the worst in its storyline. Acts 1-2 were perfect in the story and getting the player interested in the characters and really sets a cool mood for the most part. But right about midway through act 3 it decided to be a complete main storyline halt in order to talk to minor characters which drags on for ages. All the least important characters in this game get a dialogue that is a chapter of a book in itself. You need to feel and breath that persons personality before they are tossed away and irrelevant to the story after a couple minutes interacting with them. I know this game is deep in surrealism, but it's just like they add a book of storyline everytime you encounter someone completely new to you. On the otherhand i just want to drag away at clicking through endless and needless conversation told in 3 different perspectives to know what happens to the main characters and how they react.

The only character that still connects with the player is Conway because after act 2 you start to only cling onto him because he makes the decisions in the games that the player can only react to and makes him actually have a likeable personality or something you would miss if he were to leave (Dont want to spoil the main plot). But that's it, Shannon becomes the lead and changes her mind on things way too frequently and even if you want her to be streamlined to the story, she still seems to just act wild on her own and not care about anything which drew me away from her character. The biggest con to this game the most is just the overabundance of words, why does every and i mean EVERY character need to be announced and put on the spotlight for 30 minutes then thrown away just to give the player a tidbit on a place or another person. Like "You meet larry and he especially likes this one turnip, this turnip has almost purple tinge covering the backpiece that had been laid on the ground for hours basking in the sun. The sun to the turnip is like us to water, too much can kill." Just useless info that you never need to hear. Biggest time waster.

The biggest pros is that this game is still not done, they could still fix this game and make it just about the lead cast of the game. Aswell as the Artstyle of the game, it's mesmerizing and easy to look at, characters are also very unique and stylish to the setting. Lastly the music of the game fits in sooo well and is obviously supposed to fit the mood of kentucky in most places. Other than that, not much else is good besides the main storyline which i've always wanted to follow but after playing act 3-4 it makes me sad to look towards the future of this game.

A game can be good with a couple storylines, just not 300 storylines.
