This game deserves a positive review now that Sony has lifted its requirement to link PSN.

Helldivers 2 is one of the best multiplayer shooters to release in recent years, or maybe ever. It's simple, but very fun and the action flows naturally. Friendly fire and accidental deaths happen, but often in entertaining ways.

The strategem system is well balanced- it gives access to powerful weapons, equipment, and strikes from above, but they're not too easy to use or spammable that they become overpowered. They still must be used wisely, and when they are they're critical to a successful mission.

The weapon selection is good, even with the nerfs. There's something for just about everyone especially with the premium war bonds.

Overall, I love this game and I'm extremely happy Sony turned things around here. It's one of the few multiplayer games in several years to grab my attention and immerse me this much.
