Completely unacceptable what Take 2 Interactive have done to this game. Each new DLC features content with a gradual price creep, time gates like it's a free to play game (despite costing £39.99 over 3 years after original release!!) riduculous shark cards "microtransactions" (£59.99 for $8 million definitely isn't "micro") and Take 2 Interactive's general treatment of the modding scene, such as shutting down OpenIV, taking down the alternative online mod FiveM, and sending private investigators to modder's houses. Not to mention what happened with Lezlie Benzies and Rockstar North.

After 3 years there's still no new SP content, and GTA Online has such frequent problems with loading times, hackers/cheaters, and insane prices on new content which only players who can grind for two weeks or players who can purchase cash cards can get.

It's honestly such a shame because the quality of the PC port is fantastic in many regards, and the game is packed with content. But the exorbitant price creep on new content over the years has pissed off a huge chunk of the playerbase, and the never-ending problem of cheaters and hackers continues to lessen the playerbase of this game each day.

An absolutely excellent simulation game, with full support for a range of racing wheels and pedals. The DLC is perhaps the best model I've seen for any game, you pay a fair price for different cars, each with fully modelled interiors and variants, and one huge track per pack which is always highly detailed and includes every little road curve and bump.

The modding scene is alive and very easy as you simply drag and drop cars and tracks into the content game folder, and they appear in-game straight away with no hassle. Gameplay-enhancing mods are also available if you prefer having some different changes to your game.

If you're looking for a great simulation racer and other games just aren't doing the trick, then look no futher than Assetto Corsa.

I was expecting this game to be fully modernised for PCs of today since the old version's menu and gameplay are in low resolution, the controls are slightly awkward, and online play was sometimes hard to get working (I feel as if that's okay considering the game came out in 2001 before Steam.)

They promised us an improved frontend and 1080p/60FPS which as a customer I can assume it was for the entire game, but upon purchase and launch I found that the main menu ran at 640x480 which is exactly the same as the original release of the game, and the mouse movement in menus was far too sensitive with no way to change it at all. I didn't see a keyboard rebinding menu at all in the options, only a button that opens a screen displaying gamepad controls. The keyboard controls were awkward because I had to use the jump button before I could even move at all, and the keybinds were not displayed for me anywhere.

I am severly disappointed with the quality of this game and I hope that they take the criticism recieved on board. If they bring this game's quality up to the standard expected then I'll be happy to re-purchase.

It initally looks like generic brown FPS #393854, but it's got pretty realistic combat which requires actual thinking. Great amount of content for the price, and is always being updated with fixes and fresh content too.

When it works, it's fantastic. When it's broken, it's infuriating. When it's broken, it's funny, and when it works, it's boring.

Big game that's only going to get bigger over time with mods and new content from the community and BIS alike.

It's a pretty linear game as any other, but it doesn't detract from the experience. Definitely worth a buy if you like 40's themed games and solving cases.

Just keep your hat on, and look really closely.
